Rackhunter Report post Posted Tuesday at 02:36 PM I’m trying to sign my 9 year old up for the hunter safety course. It said he had to have a portal account. Isn’t there a way to add him to mine. IA Born Report post Posted Tuesday at 08:35 PM I've been an instructor for almost 14 years now and I've never heard that a kid has to have a portal account to take HE. When you go to register your kid, you can use a 6-digit DOB (i.e. 010203) as their ID number if you don't want to call and get a Dept-issued ID number. As far as getting their portal account linked to yours, yes, it can be done. Unfortunately, I can't help you on that one.
