Coues at 2300 ft.

Recommended Posts

Was out looking around in the jeep Saturday when we came across 5 deer. They were right on the jeep trail in front us and they were whitetails. Have seen a lot of mulies in this area but not whitetails. I hit the gps elvation and it was 2300' I thought coues would be up higher in the summer. They were all mature deer no young-uns.

I see them down really low all the time.....the buck I shot in 2007 was at 2700ft. They definitely are expanding their range
