oz31p Report post Posted October 10, 2012 i went on my first bear hunt over the weekend in 21. i was with a group of guys who know 21 well and are experienced 21 bear hunter but we cam up with nothing. aside from glassing for hours we checked 10+ tanks for sign and put 60 miles on my quad and nothing. but we also could not find any acorns at all. very very few prickly pears had fruit and almost no juniper berrys. i did on the othe hand have a blast hunting with some new friends exploring new areas. we did see some beautiful bulls, a ton of deer and a flock of turkeys. ill be heading back out this weekend to try again solo, i dont know where or what my strategy will be but im defiantly heading back out. any one else get out last weekend??
