That is a tough hunt. PM sent

hunted it last year. lots of elk. The problem is the mostly good wind. everytime i did a stalk the wind most of the way through the stalk, until i was close to shooting

I am headed up this Friday sat and sun. For this hunt. Any info on where I could look into. Found a herd during my lope hunt not sure if they are resident or not. Thanks in advance

_{I glassed them up and chased them nearly every day, but the wind and thermals worked against me. I managed to stumble into a herd twice when I wasn't expecting it and wasn't ready until they were over the next ridge. Had a great time though.}
