jaymzth007 Report post Posted August 25, 2016 My first 3 elk fell to either a .54 cal 430 grain or a 370 grain .50 cal T/C Maxi Ball out of a Thompson Center Renegade. I did the conversion to be able to use 209 shot shell primers (Mag Spark kit) and now I shoot 2 pellets of 777 behind a .45 250 gr Barnes MZ Expander. Those shoot great out of my old .50 Renegade.
