There were several areas that were hit there and looked just like that during that time. several of that mornings tornados' first touched down in 6b and cut 30+ mile swaths crossing I40 up into 7. if you dig deep there is a video from the national weather service lab in bellemont of one passing 500 yards west of it. one had already passed a half mile to the east. the closest personal part was that one twister destroyed wherry housing on camp navajo. my parents lived in those houses from 1946 to 1951 and i got to visit there on a delivery in 1985. lee Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
