Hoss50 Report post Posted October 21, 2016 Are there any gun shops locally that stock Rock Island 1911's? Preferably on the westside? I want to take a look at the fit and finish on them. I am seriously contemplating a fullsize RIA 1911 in 10mm but I don't really want to order a gun I have never held at least some version of. n2horns Report post Posted October 21, 2016 Harley - I have a 10mm in a Glock 20 SF Gen3 that I have and enjoy shooting. I use Underwood ammo as they load it hot. I also use their hardcast lead for hunting. I had some frame work done by Robar here in Phx, they reduced the grip, added beaver tail, undercut grip and textured. I use the aftermarket KKM barrel.
