Allforelk Report post Posted January 28, 2017 You can hit charters on Erie. Another spot to look in on is Lake Chataqua South of Buffalo. Weather is going to be a bigger problem than finding a charter or boat rental. Bass season will not be open and do some checking into local regs on trout season. Last time I checked, boat rentals on Chataqua were about the same price on a 16 footer for the week as what the marinas on Apache or Rosy get for a day.
