a buck and a bird

went up to do some scoutin' for the upcoming archery season and saw this guy.

also saw this buck here.

i'm not very good at judging the size of horn, but this looked like good growth so far. but again i'm no expert so i really don't know. if any one could help me out and give me some idea of how big he might be when he's done growin i would really appreciate it. i know you can't see his tine length but he seems pretty wide.

I would say he is going to be a nice buck by judging the length of his eyeguards. Neat picture anywhoo.
