"For over thirty years, Leonard Lee Rue's Deer of North America has been the definitive book on the life and habits of the four deer species of North America - mule, whitetail, blacktail, and Sitka. Rue, one of America's most respected naturalists and wildlife photographers, has written a comprehensive, fully illustrated book that covers every important facet in the lives of deer, from anatomy to feeding habits, distribution to management controversies."
