KeithV Report post Posted October 14, 2014 Presmyk, my son just bought a savge 111 3006 he bought a bunch of winchester 150s so we could break in the barrel ,with factory load we were gettin inch and a half groups, now in all fairness we changed out the factory trigger to a timney and torqued the action screws the front one was barely hand tight we hadnt noticed till we replace the trigger but we are now getting about a half inch group with sierra game king 165s . we got really lucky with that rifle it shoots way better than we can . we got a lot of advice on that rifle and burnt up some powder and bullets to get there oh by the way that was at 100yds Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
