Scott used to use goats, but hasn't in a many years. I wish he still did (since I usually am hunting with him!)! He loved them, and I bet he might get more now that he has some space around his new house.

The jackrabbit i have eaten were outstanding, very much like beef. They were antelope jack rabbits from unit 36....not sure if blacktail jackrabbits taste different. Ours wasnt tough at all.

So far we just saw a cow and a calf moose. But we will go out tonight and in the morning to look for more. The foliage is awesome here....i will try and post some pics

I am spending my birthday with my husband up in northern maine, looking for moose... So far this is the only moose seen!! (Guess i dont have good enough signal for the pic to post)
