Ive always liked the looks of the Elite bows. This spring may be the year I retire the '06 Hoyt.

Just curious if anyone knew the typical cost on having a hide tanned, hair off for leather? OR has anyone done their own?

Ive had antelope from 3 different states (AZ, WY and NM) the AZ stuff was by far the best. Im convinced its all WHAT they are eating. The WY goat had to be eating mostly sage and the NM goat was gorging on green alfalfa. The AZ goat must have had a more varied diet more like a deer or an elk. I love antelope meat in my book its right up there with elk and just barely under Coues deer.

You hear about lots of Remingtons and Savages, and builds from old Mauser actions. Does anyone build rifles off actions such as Browning, Weatherby, Ruger or others?

I visit this site every day. Usually three or four times a day. Its pretty much the only hunting related site I even go to anymore. My favorites are reading about everyone's hunts and adventures along with seeing all the great pictures. Second, I like the classifieds I check them all the time just to see whats on there. Thanks to Amanda for creating this place.

Like some others said. Drive around look for trucks with Primos, PSE, and other hunting related stickers on their vehicles. Then you know your getting warm. If you find a vehicle with a CWT.com sticker, quit looking you've hit paydirt. Now look around for other tell tale signs of wildlife such as tree stands, blinds or game cameras. Best time to look for this sign is the first few days of the season right at first or last light. Typically this is also a great way to make new friends and have some great conversation.
