Rem 700 Sendero Best optic you can get in your budget, don't overlook good used optics.

As I sit here and write that right is right, I can't help but wonder if I am right. Left is not right for me right now, nor has right always been right, but right is right right now, right?

I think Vortex's high end stuff is pretty darn good. Especially the top 3 rifle scopes. Razor Gen I, Razor Gen II, and the new Razor AMG is getting rave reviews from some real world testing by non-sponsored people who run their stuff hard. Binos and spotters are OK, and a good step up in quality. But not in the "top tier" range of a lot of the European glass companies like Swarovski, Leica, Zeiss, Meopta, and the like. With Minox being built by the former owners of Premier (Optronica group), their new line of riflescopes (ZP TAC) are amazing. I hope their binos and spotters follow suit.

15x56 Swaro HD NEU used or 15x56 Euros. I have a LOT of hours behind the Meopta Euro HD, in the 10x42, 15x56, and now my new 20-70x82 spotter. They are amazing glass for about $1k+ less than new Swarovski. I was recently on a mountain top with 3 guys with Swaros. Two older and one HD NEU SLC. All 15x56s. We all were back and forth between glass, and the NEU SLC did have a slight advantage on the outer edges. But center (90% FOV) clarity was on par, and better with the Euro than the older SLCs. I do have one buddy on here that bought a set of Euro 15x56s used, and had an issue with them. I think he exchanged them for a new pair at Cabela's.

Believe me, this is not being "trolled". Just clarified for reference on a nice sounding accurate rifle. You should see some of the trolling that goes on here from time to time. And let's see the picture of the animal you posted on Twitter!!! -

Stock and trigger I would assume. More of an "upgraded" than "custom". I have seen some serious "semi-custom" R700s in my time..... -
Pretty rare to get it back. I have had 2 stolen, with no recovery.

As discussed, I got you for 500 if they are the GM215M.

When Taylor was 11, she took her bull with my .300RUM. I add another vote to getting whatever chambering you want and adding a muzzle brake. That said, she also took an elk with my 7 Rem Mag, and her deer this year at 637 with a 6.5 SLR (slightly higher fps than a Creedmoor, but close enough).

Where were you parked? We have been working up on top for 3+ months, and have had a few issues too.

The 180 Hybrid is "not intended for hunting". So you must only plan on shooting paper and steel.

Can't wait to hear about Taylor's next epic adventure. Knowing her luck, and my lack of luck, she will draw either an early rifle bull or antelope tag this year....

We are all in at my house. I checked it about noon, and again at 2:30. Then when I got home, it was open!

Is that the same Dave who volunteers for the youth elk camp with the ADA? He knows 23 very well, and I'd be inclined to hire him solely for the fact that he volunteers to help the kids like he does, that's awesome. Dave is also a fireman in his other 8 months of the year, and truly a stand up guy. I do not know him from guiding, just as a hunter.

I have a running spreadsheet of scopes with about 20 different columns of criteria, color coded for pros and cons. Always updating it. Always adding new optics to it. I have my fair share of good glass. I have a few true top tier optics as well. Kahles, S&B, etc. Even my 10/22 has a Zeiss on it! An addiction. -
Finally starting to see some better bucks checking does in the desert. Getting more stupider too. In the last 2 days at work, saw twins 4x4s at 40 & 70 yards, and a big 3x3 today at 50.

What twist barrel? 1:12 or 14? 50 TTSX or 52 SMK. 1:9 or 10? 62 TTSX, 69 SMK or 70 VLD.
