You bumped a year old thread started by a guy who passed away from a complication during surgery....1st post. Off to a good start.

Hammers usually take me 6 to 15 shots to work up my load.

Check into Hammer Bullets too. BC is not the greatest, but every one I have ever loaded is wicked accurate. And, they are super easy to get. They usually have them in stock, or will custom cut them when you order.

I would look at the Raymond Ranch "hunt". And I use the term "hunt" loosely. No telling what the House Rock Ranch hunt will turn into now that USFS/NPS/DOI have gotten involved.

1 for 1 on a pigeon this morning... Ended up 19 for 26. Not terrible, but way slower than usual. Shooting at high flying pigeons kills the average.

41 birds (4 Mourning, 37 Euros) in 2 boxes+6 loose shells. Was done by 8:30am. Could have easily limited way early, but like Hoss, I was targeting Euros and letting Mourning and WW pass. Weather was amazing, cooler, mostly overcast, no rain or fog. Birds did take their time to start flying however. But once they did, they were everywhere.

I sure as heck wouldn't use this on a muzzy or rifle hunt. 70% of people would not know the difference!
