I am posting this for my brother. He has owned it for the past 3 years. Only used during Hunting season. Has been stored in scottsdale in covered storage. Storage costs are killing him there. I dont know jack about travel trailers. This one is pretty nice though. It is at my office in downtown Phx if anyone wants to look at it. He wants $7450.00

My buddy just called me. They hit his card for elk this morning. Bank declined it and the azgfd called him. He went to the azfgd office in 20 minutes and the bank ok'd it. They told him that they still had 1000's of cards to hit. Still hope !

Nothing yet for me or my pards. Think I,ll spend a few extra days shed hunting ! I enjoy that, tag or no tag. Congrats to all that drew ! I would never be upset with anyone who does get drawn, too many other things in life to enjoy ! Thats just me.

Its really sad when I pack into the Wilderness areas of the Kaibab where motorized travel is restricted and there are quad tracks all over. I have found several sheds laying on top of their tracks. Then to boot, there is empty cans, and bottles that they toss carelessly. No respect at all !

Used to see Marvin quite often on the late Kaibab hunts. Thoughts are with the family. Those poor children. RIP Marvin.

Myself, I think that the Quality of Mature Mule deer Bucks in our state is as good as ever. I think that the new technology hasn't hurt the genetics that we have, especially up north. Just look at the number of great sheds found each year and the number that are not found. The era of the 40's, 50's, 60's and 70's were superb, but many new entries in the book are entered now. Just my opinion. Couldn't really say on the southern units, i pretty much stay north of the Colorado River.

Actually, Az Game and Fish has a BBQ Javelina recipe on their website. Just Google search it and you'll find it.

A friend of mine has a great recipe. Dig a pit and get some mesquite coals nice and hot. Wrap the critter in foil. Cover the pit with dirt and leave it there forever. Go to Albertsons and buy some nice pork chops to do on the grill. Works every time.

25 odd years ago I was bidding on that tag at the Mule deer banquet. I got off it at $17,000. It brought $25k. Thought it was alot then. Dont think that the hunter cares much for the meat, its definitely a horn hunt !

60% of all our trucks are being sold out of state. I send them all over the mid west. Put it on Craigslist in North Dakota, lots of $$$ up there right now. Az rust free trucks are crazy $$$. -

I've been in the car biz for myself for 35+ years. Don't listen to what " nada " or "Kelley" says its worth. Those trucks like yours are bringing well over any " guide " out there. Ive seen some that are bringing retail at the wholesale dealer auction. If someone tells you that it is over blue book value, tell them to contact kelley blue book or nada and see if they have one for that price. Nice trucks sell, don't give it away. -
Heres a few pics i found.....

I like to go end of March or early April up north for mule deer. Have went in mid march before and many still hadn't dropped. Depends if you are looking mainly for browns or if you don't care. Just my 2 cents.

Wish I could help, I know it is a tough hunt. Nothing wrong with asking for some helpful advice, we all need alittle direction sometimes. Good luck on the draw !
