Lol Nearly sold it a few years ago, can't now. So if you need to nut punch someone, punch yourself. Sorry op, just saying these are around. Saw one in a pawnshop downtown but it was a .45

My dad picked this up in the late 60's for $75 at a garage sale I've considered selling a few times but not so much these days.

My guess is a piece of pop art for home or business.

Looks like he's wearing a helmet but it's the bowl of dharma under the cloak. He looks wild eyed because, In one version of the story, he is said to have fallen asleep seven years into his nine years of wall-gazing. Becoming angry with himself, he cut off his eyelids to prevent it from happening again.[ The fly whisk is an attribute of Daruma (Bodhidharma), who according to tradition transmitted Chan Buddhism to China; it symbolizes the sweeping away of mental distractions and ignorance.

It's Bodhidharma; Durma in Japanese, a Buddhist monk. He's holding a fly whisk. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bodhidharma

Unlike horses, it's tough judging the age of hens by their teeth. Just start fresh with chicks.

Yeah the coons were fishing in that abandoned reservoir off Miller Rd. My dog took off after them and they tried to lure him into the water for a bath nap.

January Archery - Cactus, No Immigrants, Camp at Road
Edge replied to atwoodbeer's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Now look at deserts in AZ. We have four distinct deserts, each with it's own flora; cacti. You've been mostly talking about the Chihuahuan Desert. There's an imaginary line east of Tucson that runs south dividing The Chihuahuan Desert from the Sonoran Desert. Depending on how you enter and exit AZ, you could hit all four of our deserts. -

Loaded for bear.........or......T-Rex
Edge replied to biglakejake's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I purchased this 1884 Springfield off one of our CWT members last year. It's the full length infantry model, a decent cavalry carbine was probably out of my reach. The rifle had some sort of bore.issue going on a few inches from the muzzle and probably wouldn't shoot too accurately. So rather than hang it on the wall, I got the nerve up to sportarize it by cutting the barrel and forearm down to carbine size. A buddy crowned it for me and replaced the front sight. Filled in the bayonet slot, sanded and matched the wood stain. Can't wait to make a saddle bucket for it. Not trying to fool anyone but it came out nice, hope to use it deer season. Took it out and shot it last week and it was just what I wanted. An order is in for a reproduction Buffington rear sight and I'll make a saddle ring and done. -
