Looks like Ethan is going to rid the world of an Evil Doe come November. It's a great hunt- It's become tradition, and I'm glad he got picked for it. His older brother is no longer available for youth hunts, but will be joining me in 21/Mule in November the days prior. The hunts are concurrent- we won't even have to switch gears! Just camps. Hope to see you guys up there in Nov!

I'm hoping to scrape up enough for one (used) later this month. I see a lot of ads - what is a "low miles" vehicle? How many hours/miles are too many for a Ranger? I've seen anything from '05 to 09' in the 4-5k price range. Some have 250 hours some have 11,200 miles. (Probably would steer away from that one)

I will, thanks. I'm fairly mechanically inclined, and could do a lot of parts replacement myself. I think I could do just about everything except engine replacement. Youtube is a beautiful thing. I see a lot of 250-300 hours for the Ranger 500. I might be looking at something like that.

At this point I'd be happy with a camera that: A- Doesn't get shot B- Doesn't get stolen C- Doesn't take 50000 pictures of moving grass

So when i was stationed in Long Beach?? Anyways 1st charter since i was a kid and decided i would take fish home and clean them myself. L.O.L. bad choice! Dang i was ready to cut fingers and maybe hands off after multiple dorsal spine punctures including 1 under a finger nail 😢. them dang rock fish dont screw around 😂 I can honestly say the boat crew have cleaned my fish ever since. I got a catfish barb in the right index finger. Punctured lengthwise- to the first knuckle. It hurt so bad I couldnt even talk.

Fathers Day was a blast. Quick story. And I"m only posting this because I've never even heard of it before. Was with the kids- fishing the north shore of Woods Canyon. Catching a few small fish ( I think Bluegill) and threw them in one of Trapper Arne's crawdad traps. I was helping the kids with their poles, and a snake comes up, goes into the trap, grabs a bluegill and starts to run. I managed to get some video- here's a screenshot. Just thought it made for an interesting story.

I found a few yotes near new river. Theyre hanging out in a depression on one of the plateaus - about a half mile from where the does hang out. I do a walk by at least every other night to see if I can get lucky.

It's a woods canyon thieving danger noodle. Or.. maybe a kingsnake. Not sure.
