Not saying it's happening today but my elk and antelope results aren't there anymore
bgshooter replied to bonecollector777's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
It won't get posted when they post it and it will get posted and they don't post it...that's my guess and I'm sticking to it. -
Well at least my mind was taken away from this for a moment to take care of a Verizon issue with my wife's cell phone bill. There was an error on my account saying I owed $63 and change. After explaining to them a few times that my payment history shows that I paid each month and didn't miss a payment, they finally figured out that it's an error on their side and they're crediting my account the amount due. Victory for me...now I'm back to CWT -> AZG&F ->CWT -> AZG&F...***sigh***

AZG&F playing with my emotions. Saw on the My AZ Outdoors "You have applications\tags available". But it's back to showing I wasn't drawn for deer last season and I wasn't drawn for elk this season. MUTHA!@#$!@$!@#

I hope by the time I wake up tomorrow morning so that I can stop refreshing every 10 minutes and actually get some work done at work.

Great place to purchase guns.... Buds Guns
bgshooter replied to Chris's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Is this the shop the just has "GUNS" as their sign? If so, I've meant to give them a visit because it's really close to where I live and my co-worker said her brother-in-law worked there. Will have to pay them a visit real soon... -
Very nice pics. Thanks for sharing.

Congrats! I peaked at 221 myself a few years ago and was able to get down to 185. I felt so good at 185 and planned to keep going but we (wife and I) stopped keeping track and I found my way back up to 208. So I'm back on track and going back down the right direction. @202 this morning after a weekend of feasting. I work hard watching my intake during the week and let go a little in the weekends.

Just missed an opportunity to come by this past Saturday. I was at Amazing Jakes down the road all day with my family. I could have disappeared for an hour and visited assuming you guys were open. Good luck and hope to come by some day when I'm around that area.

Past week, watched diet during weekdays. Performed some kind of daily exercise (stretches, push-ups, sit-ups, walking (10k/day goal)). Even walked around the house with my pack for 20 minutes. Wife thought I was nuts. Overall weight -6 lbs. This past weekend was full of eating (Sat-took the family to Amazing Jakes, all you can eat buffet...Sun-birthday party, lots of good Indian food). Will be back on track starting today on the diet.

Nice. Let us know our units already so I can start scouting...getting harder to be patient everyday.

Happy bday!!!

Only animals I see in my backyard are stray cats. Nice pic.

Wish I had the money. I'm a couple years away to being able to put money aside into top of the line glass (family first). Will have to make due with the Nikon Prostaff I picked up on sale last year . Bump for a good price.

It'll be my first time this year as well...first antler I see will be shot at...

Nice story and pics. I wouldn't mind going coyote hunting one day. Once I learn, my kids will most definitely be coming out with me soon after.

Wow. 47 years. Big congrats to Old Buck. Hope you enjoy the hunt and get a good one. I agree that the lottery for this hunt can definitely be improved. Instead of putting x1 extra name in the hat per point, how about something like this: 2 pts = 2 names (0.0017%) 3 pts = 4 names (0.0033%) 4 pts = 8 names (0.0067%) etc...maxing out at 15 pts = 16384 names (13.65%) So after 15 pts\years of waiting, you'll have 13.65% chance of being drawn every year you put in. If I (and probably most people in AZ) knew I had to wait 10 years before my name is put in the hat, I probably wouldn't even try...which may sound good to a lot of people in this forum. But not good for $$$ going to AZG&F which means they would never go with that idea. But if I had a chance when I draw the first time, then I would give it a try. Point is, ideas which decrease the amount of $ that AZG&F will receive will never fly. Anyways, just a thought from a rookie hunter. Edit: BTW, the % I put down was based on 120,000 applicants. I thought I saw that number somewhere in this thread but didn't bother to double check. But point is, those that have more points should get more than just x1.

Adam is a great guy. First one to help me out when I was new to this forum and was looking for a good place to do some dove hunting.

I signed up this morning and it was easy. Hoping that they'll give more features down the line...like showing what you're drawn for after you've been drawn and funds have been pulled from your ccard.

Nice pics. Can't wait to know what unit I was drawn for so I can put my cams out. I tested both of them on my family and dog and I didn't realize how often my dog walks in and out of his crate throughout the night. Lol

After getting the news (yesterday) that I'm deer hunting this year, finally got myself committed to getting my body ready for the hikes. Luckily, I started monitoring what I was eating last week (prior to knowing I was hunting). Last night after sunset, went out with my dog to the park and went up and down the hills for about 45 minutes. I'm feeling it now so I know I worked some muscles I haven't worked on for a while. Plan on doing this on a daily basis along with morning push-ups, sit-ups and stretching.

I love my model 60. Will be handed down to my older son as soon as he graduates from the Crickett. This is a great price too.
