Gave up Friday after I didn't see a hit on my card. Didn't even bother to check all day Saturday. Woke up this morning and checked just the the heck of it and saw a $45 charge from AZG&F. Looks like I'm chasing a deer this year. Now just have to see where.

Thanks for the deal knothead. Pleasure meeting you this morning. Can't wait to take my son out to give it a shot (literally).

Leupold RX-1000i TBR Rangefinder Brand New
bgshooter replied to Deserttrecker's topic in Classified Ads
I bought this range finder when it went on sale at Cabelas. I've played with it in a backyard a few times. Can't wait to use it out on the field. Good luck with your sale. -
Nice deer...you all can't see it???

From the fishing regs: "short-term combination hunt and fish - allows take of all fish species statewide (including at community fishing waters), small game, fur-bearing animals, predatory animals, nongame animals, and upland game birds." You both should be good to go.

Nice. I need to start putting a little $ away from my paychecks towards getting a few cameras. I'm one of the unfortunate ones that can't get away often enough to scout so I'll need to use technology to scout for me.

Nope. Trout comes with your combo license. You can use two poles also. All included with the license now. Have fun and good luck

+1 on taking care of business (i.e. job, roof over your family's head, meals on the table, clothes on your family's back, etc) and having a few extras shouldn't be a big deal. And +1 on asking for forgiveness instead of permission

Happy belated birthday!!!

bgshooter replied to hoghntr's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
My kids and I are always pretending to shoot them down as they fly above us. We were swimming at a friend's house a few weeks back and while I was floating on a couple of float noodles, I mentally shot down a couple hundred doves. Can't wait for Sept 1st to come around. Bacon wrapped with jalapeno and pineapple in the middle. Can't beat it. May have to try the pepperjack idea. -
New to a quad. Have you been pulled over on dirt roads not street legal?
bgshooter replied to apache12's topic in Other Hunting Gear
Hey BG! I hope you are enjoying your new ride! TJ It's been great. My wife loves it. I picked up a couple of small Suzuki 90cc for my kids shortly after I took the Polaris home and we hit the trails at Boulders 3-4 times before the heat came. Can't wait to take it out on a hunt one day. We'll probably hit the trails again around October when it cools down. Thanks again and hope you and your family are doing well. Here's a few pics of our outing. -
AEO Powersports (19205 N 83rd Ave #108, Peoria, AZ 85382). I just brought my ATV to them a few months ago and they got it running right (I tried to work on it myself but I just couldn't make it right). A friend of mine has been going to them for years and that's why I gave them a shot. I bought one of my sons quad from R ATV and they were very pleasant to deal with. So pleasant that I will bring my ATVs to them whenever I need to something done I can't do myself. They're just down the road from my house so that's a bonus.

Preventing the annual P&M Wednesday morning

I did mines online last week with no issues. Crossing fingers and waiting for the complaint threads to start so I can enjoy some light reading during my breaks at work. Good luck to you all. -
New to a quad. Have you been pulled over on dirt roads not street legal?
bgshooter replied to apache12's topic in Other Hunting Gear
I never really thought about this. When I bought my hunting quad, I assumed as long as I stay on the dirt roads with it, I shouldn't run into any legal problems. Reading all the posts, looks like I may have to re-think this. Mine is already street legal (thanks to previous owner, Tucson John) and I registered it with an MC plate in case I wanted to ride it on the streets. All I need to do is add it to my MC insurance policy and it's good to go. -
Awesome post. Brag all you want about your kids...I do . No shame in being proud of your kid's accomplishments as long as you do so in a respectable manner while making sure your kids continue to do great things with a humble demeanor. Keep up the great job (your son as well as the rest of your family).

Get your kids ready to hunt without devolping bad shooting habits

Nice and thanks for posting this. My oldest son just turned 10 so time for us to practice as he's now able to go for big game. He's a good shot with his Crickett and want to get him a 243 for his first centerfire rifle. I will definitely use this technique. -
Not in the east side, but I've brought all cars I've purchased since 2006 to SunDanser at NE corner of 51st Ave & Bell Rd, Glendale. Haven't had a problem yet. I still have my Yukon that was tinted back in 2006 and the tint is still in great condition.
