Back in the day being a member of Usery meant you had a key that could enter the range and shoot without rangemaster from sun up (until they opened 8 or 9) and then again from when they closed (5 I think) until sundown. Was well worth the $50 a year that it cost back then. But as soon as the range masters showed up, you left. This is in the mid 90s even and they were all DBs. I get the dealing with DHs but ask - asking works 99% of the time. No reason to berate people unless a dangerous situation. Leaning over a line or grabbing a cleaning rod falling off the bench or whatever - does not deserve the treatment they expelled. It was embarrassing when taking people from out of state or from a gun/optics manufacturer/rep or someone out there. Haven't been in 20+ years now but my assumption is that is hasn't changed much.

Browning Dura touch (sticky stock replacement)
jdown posted a topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
This may be old news but if you have an Xbolt with a stock that feels like it is melting - Browning has a replacement process set up from a class action - complete with prepaid shipping label. https://www.browning.com/support/parts-service/dura-touch-coating-service-process.html Sending mine in today - they said about 6 weeks. -

Well if they give me a new stock and get rid of gummy stock - I won't complain if it take a bit. Couldn't even put it in the plastic bag inside the box. -

If you are in the valley, you might want to try Ed’s shoe repair in Tempe. He is a true craftsman

Bump for a good guy and great machine. Well taken care of and extra preventative maintenance done as well.

No I actually was surprised how soft they were (my first Kenetreks) and alway hear how you need to put 50miles on them to break in. I just have too many boots all of a sudden and need to thin the herd and these are most like new I have. They have been waxed with Kenetrek boot wax and always in my closet.

I hate all bow shops that I have experienced in Az equally, We set up a press and everything at the house, just to avoid them day to day. Curious to see if you land on a good one. Good luck

My son when he was 10 shot a cow with the 100gr Nos Partition. He made a good shot but she did need a 2nd one. The bullet did good and she would have expired I'm sure but other son shot a cow that same morning with very similar shot location with a 7/08 140 gr (can't recall the bullet) and she dropped and went much quicker. I know this is obvious but thought I'd share - the 243 did it's job but did feel a little light. Good luck to boy!
