Attacking trees, cameras etc.,I believe it just furthers Grey Ghost's comparison analysis.

PointGuard, good idea or money making scam?
Allforelk replied to Capt. Don Martin's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
As I understand it, once per lifetime per species. Am I correct here? -
Please post pictures of Frankenstein soon.

PointGuard, good idea or money making scam?
Allforelk replied to Capt. Don Martin's topic in Mule Deer Hunting
I have been lucky to draw the species I hunt without too many misses in the draw. I don't have a lot of points and dont have the same stake in this as others with many years/points ahead of me. That being said, I agree with Big Browns. As of now, it's legal. If someone is on the bubble, wants to hold out for one more year and can earn what they would spend for a "lifetime tag", more power to them. -
Thank you.

30a unit / november 4th-10th hunt
Allforelk replied to mmatthew's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
Taken from G&F Website: Areas: To access the Peloncillo Mountains take I-10 to Hwy 191 south to Douglas, follow 15th Street, which becomes the Geronimo Trail. Take Geronimo Trail road into the mountain range located on the Arizona/New Mexico border. Areas include Cottonwood Canyon, Estes Canyon, Miller Springs and Outlaw Mountain. Because of the proximity to New Mexico, be sure of the location of the state line. One major change in access is Skeleton, South Fork of Skeleton, and Starvation Canyon is no longer available. The Pedregosa Mountains are located northeast of Douglas. To get there; take Hwy 80 from Douglas to the Boss-Husted Shipping Corral Road (Dangerous Road). Areas include Walnut Canyon, Upper Indian Creek and Half-moon Valley areas. To access the Dos Cabezas Mountains take Hwy 186 from Willcox towards Dos Cabezas. Access is limited with only a couple roads available, the Hurtado Ranch Road and the Mascot Mine Road are currently closed. Hunters can enter the Dos Cabezas from the west on the Collins Farm Road, or east off of Apache Pass Road at the Happy Camp Road or the Page Ranch Road off Interstate 10 exit 344 in Willcox. Pre-season scouting is very important to learn these roads and obtain permission where needed. Obtain US Forest Service maps and topographical maps to familiarize yourself with the areas. Learning the terrain and its characteristics will greatly improve your success. -
Check the date on OP my man.

I need to reset. Time to get out of this heat and dissappear for the weekend. I got the ok to take a half day tomorrow and beat the Northbound traffic up 17. I want to drink a beer on a dirt road. I want to burn boot leather. I want to shadow elk all day. I want to watch the Bulls settle in for a morning rest. Most of all, I want to escape all the B.S. associated with being able to afford these habits.

1995, late rifle Bull in unit 8. We had 2 6x's, a 5x and a spike down within 30 minutes of sunset. My left hand turned into a knotted claw by the time skinning was done. I think I slept for 10 straight hours when it was all over. The rest of the week was pure debauchery. I loved every second of that trip.

Headed to unit 8 myself. It's my second home.

I started laughing while I was on the phone with a client. I couldn't stop when I imagined her irrationally breaking things out of frustration.

I'm getting excited for Dove season!!!!
Allforelk replied to Big Browns's topic in Small Game, Upland Bird, and Waterfowl Hunting
I've never admitted publicly that I scout dove. Thank you for the courage to come forth. I have some young Cousins coming over from California with their Grandpa. Looks like it will be a good shoot for 4 generations on opening day. -
I would love some advice. I have not slung an arrow since the 80's at Camp Geronimo. I need to get my dominant shoulder in shape following an injury. Because of this site, I really want to pick archery up. I would appreciate any and all advice for a starting point and a recommendation for the SE valley as far as shops/ranges. Thank you in advance. I've tried Google, and other reviews, but I feel the B.S. sift here is much more manageable.

Thank you gents, have all the darkest colors of bands and even bought the Chuck Norris machine. No B.S., awesome for stretching on the Chuck. Getting over 2lb dumbbell workouts is humbling. I will follow the addice and have sent some P.M's.

That road still exists. It's the lesser known Apache Trail. It does connect to the east valley lands.

I was wondering the same thing.Me too. No loss of BPs on left overs. Or am I wrong? I think you are correct. I was under the impression that leftovers did not affect bonus points. My original post was worded incorrectly. I am sitting out because of other commitments.

Any Galiuro hunters out there? I'm sitting this one out with BP status. Would love an update.
