Had a friend up in Alaska shoot a brown bear up a drainage and it started running down the hill straight at him after the first shot. He ended up killing it not 10 feet in front of him. The bear didn't know where he was. It was just running the easiest route which happened to be straight at him. My friend said he was shaking like a leaf.

Congrats to both of them. That is awesome.

That is awesome. Sounds like you need to make sure he knows what "do it up" means before his next hunt.

That is a great price. I always used a reel mower and my lawns looked incredible. I had people that would ask if it was real grass. Of course now I do have fake grass and no need for a mower.

Way to go on a great buck. That wasn't even close to the posse that A3 had on JJ's bull. -
Oh good heck. That was interesting.

Dang that all looks good. Cheese steaks are my favorite.

That is awesome. Congrats to everyone.

I am heading up this weekend to do some elk scouting and taking the call. I would be happy with a bear or lion.

Christian, what did you put on your Pioneer? I have one and will be upgrading after this coming hunt season. I want to put the same size on the front and back with spacers but a little bigger.

Depending if a cow gets bred or not during the rut they will go into heat again. I had the late archery hunt several years ago and shot this bull that was with a herd of cows. He gave himself away by bugling and chasing cows.

It kind of sucks that at the same time last year I had been out shooting several times out to 700 yds. I may have to resort to the range this year.

Awesome video. It is cool that you take the time to video all of it. It isn't easy to do. I always want to and it is never convenient.

Fire restrictions. Anyone else considering turning tag back in?

I am hoping by the time my hunt comes around that this is all behind us but if it isn't I will be investing in one of the propane fire pits and not look back. The thought of turning my tag in hadn't even crossed my mind. Shoot it almost sounds like a good idea to have one anyways. That way I won't have to cut firewood. -
Looks like the guy got slobbered on. That is cool.

Congratulations Stanley! Looks like you might be buying another freezer.

I was out this weekend scouting for a elk hunt I have later and the hills were full of SXSs. There were people everywhere. I have a Honda and on the Honda forums it sounds like they are all going over book right now. New and used. But I think there are still deals to be found if you are patient.

Way to get it done. That has to be satisfying to get it done in the last few minutes. But stressful.

Good luck. Looks like a blast. That is beautiful country. Congrats to your FIL.

Been doing it for years. I have almost tipped my tripod with binoculars over from my head nodding off more times than I can count. That is the sign that a tactical nap is needed.
-
Congrats. That bull looks like he was a fighter.

Great buck. I have a friend that shot a super tall buck up there this year.

I always shop at our local Ace Hardware if I can. They amazingly have a lot of stuff. Unfortunately I am sure ammo is not one of them.

The pictures with the pond in them are beautiful. Especially that last one. My wife is from back east and we never timed it right going back there in the fall.

That was the same one that caught my eye. I want to know what a traditional massage is though and who is doing it. You might get more than you bargain for.
