  1. It needs to have the appropriate label for what is being shipped, but you can then schedule a pickup at ups.com.  Pickup at your residence will run you between $13-$20.

UPS is picking up a 2A related item from me today and since my time is worth way more $13, it's an easy decision to solve the problem even though there is a "UPS Store" 1/2 mile from my house that won't accept the package.  All part of plan by certain groups, but at least there is a work around.

I'm fairly certain a UPS driver will accept the package w/o a scheduled pickup if you happen to see him or her (forgive me for pre judging all UPS drivers)  in your 'hood and it has a prepaid label and contents label.

    Good luck,

    Eddie

  2. Hello All,

I'm helping a friend sell this like new leather recliner as her husband died soon after it was purchased.

Color is gray and it's a manual recliner in like new condition.  No pets and from a non-smoking home.

She paid about $1,800 new when purchased last year and it is on sale now for about $1,700 from the LA Z Boy store where it was purchased.

She told me to drop the price to $500!!!.    Pickup is in N. Scottsdale around FLW Blvd. and Scottsdale Rd.

Additional recliner details in the last picture.

PM me with questions or interest.

    Thanks,

    Eddie

  3. Lots of posts about dealers, but not salesman (can I even use that word today?) so I'll throw my 2 cents in since we're not really answering your question.

Your son is buying a commodity so shop based solely on price.  A Camry at HT is the same one at RT or CT.  Use the HT price to negotiate a better price locally. Paying an extra BF or two here is better than saving a BF by going to HT.  Time is money even for your son.

Shop as much as possible vis phone or email.  Ensure they send him the contract before he steps foot in the dealership.  They are all (decent salesman or otherwise) are master manipulators.

If the deal is different than promised or in the contract, tell him to walk.  That is our ultimate power as car buyers but most will not do this.

    Good luck to your son,

Except pets aren’t wildlife. The sign specifics wildlife…I read it as not taking the fox, bobcat, or whatever is in the trap for the fur, etc.

Good point BO and I sure missed that.  Good to know they are okay with a person rescuing his/her pet.

3rd, 4th choice??? Pics or it didn't happen...

I just checked just in case my memory failed me, but it did not.  For recalling breakfast (or work), it often does, but it seems to be sound for hunting related recall.  😀

I absolutely did draw my 3rd choice in 2021 (mid-winter) for antlerless elk. I was tag # 3 and that's the extent of the info I will pass along.  The reader is free to believe me or not.

so Eddie, if you recall, was your cc charge with your 3rd choice tag with the "main bunch" of charges or later in the day or perhps next day?

Omg and I can't remember what I had for breakfast this morning.  Hahaha.

No clue to your questions, but there is always a chance if you fill in your 3rd or 4th choice is the way I look at it.

  7. Why not use a credit card?  I'm guessing you used a debit card for your tag fee?

And how much was your insurance bill that it drained your account balance?

I'm hardly a rich man (at least in dollars) but it would take a few insurance payments to drain my account.

Of course, I use a CC for my tag fee and insurance payments and everyone should cancel their DC as they are the worst for fraud, etc.

    Better luck next year.

  8. Thank you sweet baby Jesus!

I for sure drew an elk tag since there is a pending $135 charge.  I did not draw last year.

There is $50 charge too but not sure what that is since a resident youth elk tag costs $63.

Anyone have any idea 'bout the $50 charge? I know the application fee is $13 so maybe that explains it?

AGM batteries need a slightly higher charge than the stock alternator puts out. They need 14.1 to 14.8 volts to stay happy. Look up voltage booster. I bought one for my 5th gen 4Runner. It plugs right in and uses the factory fuse. Sorry to hear about your bad experience with Odyssey. I'm running a Northstar X2. I believe it is the same as Odyssey. ???

Good info on the AGM charging requirements.  I have had an X2 Power in my T4R for 3.5 years with nary a problem.

NorthStar makes the X2 Power ( sold by Batteries +), but just rebranded.  I had a NorthStar tech tell me that in 2019 when I was looking for a beefy battery for my T4R.

He said get an X2 and save a few dollars, get a better warranty and easier to exchange if needed, as they are the exact same battery. I appreciated that and did when they had a sale and rebate soon thereafter.  My OTD cost was $310.   Pricey but a top notch battery and really nothing when amortized over the 5+ years it will last.

P.S. I looked into the Odyssey battery and was not liking what I was finding given the premium price.
