Awesome cots. Used them to make my 12X12 Alaknak more doable for my kids and I. Had MANY great camping/fishing/hunting trips all stacked-in to that tent using those cots! Still have them and use them on occasion after over 10 years of use. Quality cots!

    EURO MOUNT

What ever you do, be sure to try to keep the head chilled well (on ice) until you get it to whoever is going to do the euro mount. The taxidermist will appreciate that!

    36A Youth Deer

VERY AWESOME!!! Spent many years chasing deer and pigs on that junior hunt when my three were coming of age. They are all young adults now, but I treasure those times! Thanks for reminding me!! S.

    Unit 36A help

Or maybe someone PM'ed him, and they just communicated back and forth that way. I usually take it right to direct-messaging when giving info, as opposed to posting back and forth on the original thread. Either way, hopefully the dude got some help (or not...).

Ya, I've got a couple of alerts set with Midway and others so I hopefully get an e-mail when the have availability for something I'm watching. I'll post here as/if I see anything. BTW, tell me more about Bloomberg and Bezos??? I tried to research that and find nothing regarding them buying ammo manufacturing....

Was not born yet (3 years later....), but I remember my dad reflecting on it years later and saying sort of the same sentiment Curtis shared regarding Kennedy being 'one of the good Democrats...'. This topic reminds me of the time several years ago that I went through the Boeing Museum outside of Seattle. They had the plane on display that was the actual 'Airforce One' aircraft when JFK was in office. You could walk through it, and they had the sections & compartments sort of blocked-off with plexiglass. As I was strolling through and peered into the bedroom compartment, my mind immediately went to Marilyn Monroe! 😳 Is that bad???? (BTW, if you are ever in Seattle the Boeing Museum is well worth a visit, IMO!!)

    Are the snakes stil out?

Yup, they are still out. Came across a rattler in the dark evening before last while on a night-hike in Phoenix Mountain Preserve (Dreamy Draw...). Did me the courtesy of rattling a couple of feet out so I could do one of those crazy jump-turn moves! πŸ˜‚ S.
  20. Dove can & will be found along almost any wash, river bed, or field (Or a dairy, if you're lucky enough to find a contact that has one and will let you hunt.). Excellent spots can be hard to find though, and information on excellent locations is generally held tight. I joined a friend on a mule deer hunt along the Gila river valley SW of Phoenix a couple of weeks ago. If you want to explore a bit, you will likely find a spot or two. Go to Gila Bend, and then head west on I-8. Google Painted Rock, Agua Caliente, Palomas..... There is lots of state/public land that borders cotton, alfalfa, and river bottom. Not 'dairy level' hunting, but there are doves there. This area is just an example. There are areas closer and further. Good luck!

    Remember the 80s in Phoenix

Miracle Mile is STILL awesome!!! After closing at Park Central they moved to Colonnade for a bit, and are now in a free standing building at 16th Street & Campbell. The Straw sandwich is the best!

    Remember the 80s in Phoenix

I remember as a kid in the mid-70s, that Wallace and Ladmo would show-up at the Kearny Pioneer Days carnival each year and hand-out Ladmo bags. Never was lucky enough to score one, though. Fun thread.... LOTS of memories being recalled from the late-70s & early 80s. S.

    Late hunt tactics

Find an area with as much country as possible between roads (big chunks of roadless land.....). Hike-in in the dark to get as far as reasonably possible from roads. Set-up and glass all day long. Good luck!!
