Walker triggers (1 blue, 1 stainless) 1 X-mark (stainless) $25 each (includes sear and spring) 30-06 Brass. FA MATCH '59 brass. Has been tumbled and decapped. (Most likely resized as well, I can't remember) Nice uniform brass, I just don't need 600 pieces. 400+ pieces $40 SPF .308 Brass 1x Fired Federal GM brass that has been tumbled, sized and primed (FED 210M) 125+ pieces $25 SPF TIKKA T3 takeoff stock. Its' got some scratches but perfectly functional. $25

Stainless 6.5x55 SWEDE takeoff barrel package (T3x lite) $250 19 rounds exactly down the barrel. (Sub MOA) Includes Forster BR Die set and 100 pieces of Lapua brass. (19 1x fired, 27 handloads in new brass (mostly 127 Barnes LRX), and 54 pieces new brass primed with FED 210GM) For those who don't know, Tikka barrels are interchangeable with other T3/T3x actions 99% of the time with no gunsmithing required. Just be SURE TO CHECK THE HEADSPACE WITH GO/NO GO GAUGES BEFORE FIRING.

Rifle options - recommendations wanted

Tikka's are tough to beat for the $. Down sides are there is only one action size and the bottom metal and magazine are plastic. However, the action will be smooth as glass and will feed/cycle effortlessly. The factory trigger is pretty decent as well and the barrels typically shoot good and clean easy. It doesn't hurt that the .223 barrels are 1 in 8 twist. -
I have a Final Approach Legacy. It was the Cadillac of layout blinds with lots of room. I also have a snow camo cover for it. $150 and it's yours!

The elk will move off the flats and into the thicker pj over the next few weeks as the rut winds down. Find some points where you can glass into the more heavily vegetated hill sides, preferably with a fair amount of cliffrose and you'll turn up some bulls. Finding a a good one that's still intact is going to be more challenging. Good luck!
