Skull Metal Coating - Bronze Copper, SilverHappy Trails replied to Happy Trails's topic in Classified Ads I have an elk that I plan to do next month. I will post a pic when done. It's a four year old bull with bisted antlers and they are really dark since he was colored up real nice from a burn area. Will be a nice aged bronze project.

I started a little hobby and have done 5 couse deer within our family and two antelope for a CW member. I have a mulie in the works that will be bronze. Extending this service to interested parties. The process takes about a week from start to finish. Cleaning, primer, thee coats of metal, patina, polishing and then a matte clear coat. I use high quality products that are actually metal. Bronze, copper or silver. Patina for an aged or oxidized look if you prefer. $200 for deer, antelope, javilina. $300 for elk. I can take in skulls in any condition, but prefer nothing rotten. Best and faster if the euro is clean. Extra time for doing a euro or heavy cleaning and repairs on teeth, etc. would be a little more $ depending on what you have.

Sharing an experience with the crew that hosted the tent/booth at the Expo this year. Lazy and uninterested when I started asking questions on how they compare to NF and Burris. I was the only one there and thought I would get their attention while I was shopping a long range scope for a .300 RUM. The boys sat deep in their chairs and began talking among themselves and playing with their phones. I attempted to gain their interest, picking up scopes and attempted market comparison dialog for a couple that I was interested in but their engagement and energy was pretty lame so I moved on. This had a significant and unfortunate impression for me personally. Could be a one off experience, but thought I would share for reference.

"How did I live without it?" Hunting GearHappy Trails replied to rossislider's topic in Other Hunting Gear This super great post must live on! https://www.creativeoutdoorsmt.com/ Check these rifle and bow slings out! I picked up a rifle sling last year and it was a game changer having my rifle secure without fuss and hands free to use trekking poles, quick glassing, etc.

Check Hyundai Palisade and KIA Sorento. I can attest to the warranty on both and we were fortunate to walk away from the Sorento being totalled in a wreck. Have had the Explorer, Yukon XL, full size and mini vans before those. Best experience for fit, function, features and value is the Palisade for us. Agree with the note to consider captains seats for the mid row and don't overlook the Buick.

sold WTS/WTT Burris XTR Signature RingsHappy Trails replied to iflyskyhigh's topic in Classified Ads Look these up on the Burris website, youtube, etc. I started using them and now my go to standard. Solid versatile and good choice for long range setups.

True. If a printer is available, you have access to it and a wifi connection. (Rarity depending on your post) Then there is the whole lead time of the mail service. If it came up again, we would have it all prepared in advance. JIC

Had a situation where my Son was deployed and while I attempted to forfeit a tag for him it didn't pan out. Obviously, he could not be present and complications with access to tech for completing the application and mailing it in with a physical tag while it was somewhere in a storage unit state side. When I called, there were no provisions beyond the policy for a case like this. In hiensite, one could proactively complete and keep said paperwork on hand for someone if you had the forethought and means to do so in advance. BPs lost, tag wasted. Sharing for awareness. A hunt permit-tag must be surrendered prior to the close of business the day before the start of that particular hunt. *Note: for the holidays a drop box will be available at each regional and Phoenix headquarters office. An applicant who has purchased PointGuard will present the original hunt permit-tag to be surrendered, along with a completed tag surrender application form, in person to any customer service representative at any of the department’s statewide office locations, or by mailing the hunt permit-tag and tag surrender application form to AZGFD, Attn: Draw, 5000 W. Carefree Highway, Phoenix, AZ 85086.

I have an older VA5 with some miles on it. Had an issue with the arm after knocking my tripod over. Reached out to Suriu to see if I could order and pay for a part. They sent me the part I needed and DYI instructions for FREE. I was not expecting that. Sharing the support experience for consideration. 100% on the link recommendation from MMACFIVE above.
