  4. Checking for interest .Are there any competition small bore shooters or anyone who would like to get started in shooting matches? My wife has agreed to let me sell here safe queen. This rifle has been taking up too much room in my safe for the last 35 years. The model 52 was the premier small bore match rifle for many years and was named by Field and Stream as one of the 50 best rifles ever. For many years it was known as the king of the 22's. Winchester historian Herbert Houze called it "perfection in design". This would be an ideal entry level rifle for a junior shooter who can't afford an Anschutz or Walther . I have the iron sights and a 20X scope. This gun is a real tack driver I have often placed consecutive rounds in the same hole. PM me with any interest and we can negotiate a price as I am not sure what the value is I looked on gunbroker.com and they have starting bids around $600 to $1200 with one as high as $4995. These rifles were manufactured from 1920 until 1980 I believe the serial number dates this rifle to 1961. I can send picture if someone is interested.
