Compression is good .with high mileage I'd figure your valve seals are getting a little weak and your running a bit of oil down thru .sounds like new plugs and see what happens

First gun was a browning a bolt in 30-06 had a ziess 3x9 on top never did shoot an animal with it .then we moved here and everyone said you need a gun with more punch for elk so I sold it for a 300 win ruger m77 stainless and have a vx3 on top. I've shot elk and pigs with it .its a bit much for javalina at 10 feet but was worthwhile to pull the trigger and see the pig fly about 3 feet and land in the brush all dressed out with 1 shot .😁

Its a early imi gun from pre ban and probably shoots from an open bolt and is definitely worth every penny your asking .most that are looking at it should know this .

This is why nobody wants to drive a ford or be friends with anyone who does sooner or later they break down

If you could only have one .great shot placement or high kenitic energy and why?for example I'd take shot placement as even with all that energy if the shot is poor it probably won't kill.remember only one please! Yes I know they go hand and hand in hunting but let's see

Lost a deer in 12a with a expandable 18 yard shot .figure it didn't open and pin holes the deer .felt like shoot for not killing it clean and went to cut on contact after that

I had them do a muzzle break a few years back when they were still at c2 off the 10 freeway .when I dropped off the gun I told them not to drill and tap for the front sight as it was in the line of sight for the scope .when it was done it had the sight back on it looked stupid as shoot and I was pissed .had to take it back off and plug the holes .he'll it even said do not re install front sight on the order .they lost my business for sure

Wife drew a 22 n cow tag again this year and after last year's hunt .I need help with spots for her to hunt .she has ms and a tummer against her spine and can't do the ruff trails and long hikes into the normal spots most hunt .I've got quads but it needs to be not to ruff or short walks in any help with spots would be great thanks

A year ago they were 8 months backordered I'm sure its probably the same or worse.if you do find one get the threaded barrel paramount or the pro is definitely better.good luck to you and thumbs up to 5n for going to no end to get his wife a new gun.
