    What's this world coming to?

finding a whole deer with its head cut off is not the same as seeing a guy walking with a jug of deer cocaine or some kernels of corn on the ground during the off season. geez

  9. wasnt the easiest hunt for me, we had to work pretty hard i thought. got back a few ridges deep, I glassed him up in some thick stuff and one second you would see him the next he was gone. i threw down mine and my hunting buddies packs and made a rest, ranged the tree nearest where id last seen him, 522 yards. turret to 5 moa, then tried to find him in the scope - couldnt. stand up look in the binos and try to find him again. did that about 3 times. i finally zoom way out and his head pops up. i put the cross hair where his chest should be and let it rip and he jumps and then flops twice. once i got over there i wasnt sure if id find him because it was incredibly thick and dense cover but after a couple minutes there he was. after the shot i realized i had the scope on 9 power lol. equipment: swarovski slc 15x56 binos weatherby 257 Mark V vortex 6-24 pst Nosler Trophy Grade 110 gr Accubond Ammunition swarovski range finder

    The Jag

I guess Ive never been on so many giant bucks that I couldn't tell the difference between them. For me it's really easy to remeber the big 32" wide buck or the 28" wide one with the deep forks without naming them. The name makes for a good thread title though. I actually wanted to make up a name for the buck I shot and post it since its a puny buck that id never seen before, just for the lolz. My lingo is more like "that big buck that we saw over there tht one time" not " I saw Steve over by the big Boulder today" But I'm not very creative either

    The Jag

Idk ask the guys that name the deer they hunt and kill every year.
  17. Congrats. Admiring your skills to put horns on that guy. I made my friend pass on 3 spikes because I couldn't tell for sure if they had horns. They all did and he went home empty handed. Nice job

    37A?

Looks kinda like the one my friend killed yesterday thereCan you show a pic of your friends buck? He doesn't have the watermark on it yet. Lol i don't have a brand so I don't care. I'm not posting it cuz it's not mine. And it's not huge. But looks like that buck in the pic. I think the one in the pic is bigger.

    Considering OTC Deer in Dec

If your game is to just shoot something legal, it's very easy to do. Archery you say? Very easy you say? Teach me, I've never even been able to kill one

What a difference the spring rains make.

"The goat on the right and the goat on the right" Wait so which one is from 2015? Why do you think its moisture and not just an all around better goat? (Genetics, age)
