Dented brass on resize.
willhunt4coues replied to apache12's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Same here with the sizing wax works the best. Just a little on my thumb and finger goes along ways. Most of that spray Lube makes the die feel sticky. Use the wax and it will be as smooth as a baby's a.... -

Looking for suggestions for a lighter stock
willhunt4coues replied to PRDATR's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Go with the Manners Carbon elite stocks I believe they weigh 20 oz give or take a few oz. That is what I first wanted but went with a normal chassis stock which weighed 2.5 lbs. -
FYI do not ship those with the primers in. A buddy did that and got a 5000.00 fine. Deprime all before sending.

My nephew, me, dad, and AZP&Y all got hit. I can't wait.

Would you re-barrel a DPMS 260 AR
willhunt4coues replied to Big Browns's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I have heard that the AR is more accurate in the 6.5 cm than the .260 and all around better gas gun with the 6.5 CM. I also heard that you do not want to use the H4350 in the gas gun like the normal bolt. Did you ever try like Varget with a 130 bullet? Also what you are trying to achieve is better in a bolt gun for accuracy. Don't get me wrong the gas gun can be accurate but not like the bolt. Try loooking at the shilen barrel with bolt start there I know shilen makes great products. Ya your DPMS is good enough as any other to build onto. Go for it. -
extremestore.us is where i get all my 6.5 140gn VLD. They usually are the cheapest and always have them in stock. Get the whidden dies I have been through all the different brands with whidden being the most polished like glass dies. I have actually sized 6 cases in a roll without lube they are that smooth and very little sizing perfect for brass life.

Reload accessory tips?
willhunt4coues replied to apache12's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I had the same one at first but they just dont last. As much as I was tumbling the little cans were great for like 20 or so cases. But you are correct Desertbull it does work. You will still have to buy stainless pins. You could make your own tumbler. Heck I have even seen 50 gal tumblers...LOL -
Reload accessory tips?

Everyone I going to stainless tumbling. Google it and watch some videos. With only 100 pieces of brass they will be done in 1 to 2 hours. -
Reload accessory tips?
willhunt4coues replied to apache12's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I have tried 3 sonic cleaners and all suck IMO. Then of course vibratory tumblers with walnut and corn do a good job polishing but does not get the inside clean. The STAINLESS steel tumbling will do both the stainless steel pins clean everything out. Your brass will be brand new when done. After I stainless tumble I then anneal and throw back into the same tumbler but with corn cob to polish. Classes have stayed clean with no tarnishing up to 1 year. -
I use Valdada Rings, Valdada 20 moa base, and Sightron SIII 6-24X50 FFP LRMOA scope. By far a great set up. I get 95 moa of elevation and wind age. The Sightron SIII SFP 6-24X50 will get you 100+ moa of elevation and windage. I have used Seekins, US Optics, Nightforce, ect for the rings and bases and can tell you from all the work I have done the Valdada are just as nice for a little less.

I use a Thumbler model B for stainless tumbling http://www.stainlesstumblingmedia.com/reloading-products/tumblers/thumler-s-tumbler-model-b-high-speed.html I use a LE Wilson case trimmer http://www.midwayusa.com/product/276092/le-wilson-micrometer-case-trimmer-stainless-steel-case-trimming-kit?cm_mmc=pf_ci_google-_-pf_ci_google-_-pf_ci_google-_-pf_ci_google&gclid=CJaXq5iGpMYCFdcVgQod6PsB8Q I use the (VERY GOOD TOOL TO HAVE) K&M chamfering tool for precision work https://www.kmshooting.com/catalog/case-neck-chamfer-tools/controlled-depth-tapered-reamer_large_6mm-338.html I use the (VERY GOOD TOOL TO HAVE) Sinclair Primer pocket tool with the driver adapter for my drill http://www.sinclairintl.com/reloading-equipment/case-preparation/primer-pocket-tools/handles/sinclair-primer-pocket-uniformers-prod34720.aspx I use a Ballistics edge annealer for annealing http://www.annealingmachines.com/model-400.html I use a Harrells press http://harrellsprec.com/index.php/products/compact-reloading-press I use a Hornady concentricity tool http://www.hornady.com/store/Ammunition-Concentricity-Tool/ I use a Redding Concentricity guage for cases http://www.midwayusa.com/product/311160/redding-case-neck-concentricity-gage I use a RCBS Chargemaster 1500 for fast throws http://www.midwayusa.com/product/772151/rcbs-chargemaster-1500-powder-scale-and-dispenser-combo-110-volt I use a Sartorius ENTRIS323-1S for double weighing (getting the weight to .02 precision) http://balance.balances.com/scales/662 I use a 21st century SS priming tool for precise primer seating depth http://www.21stcenturyshooting.com/S.S_FQUY.php I use the Hornady digital calipers (have about 4 sets) 1 for the headspace measurement, 1 for hornady comparator CBTO, 2 for regular measurements Lyman flash hole uniformer http://www.sinclairintl.com/reloading-equipment/case-preparation/flash-hole-deburring-tools/lyman-flash-hole-uniformer-prod44714.aspx Sinclair flashhole reamer (get the .081 for bigger flashholes and .0625 for small) http://www.sinclairintl.com/reloading-equipment/case-preparation/flash-hole-deburring-tools/sinclair-flashhole-reamer-0625-prod36020.aspx If I think of anything else I will put it up. Most of these items I use are for precision work. I can get by without using half for my 22-250. -
If you plead not responsible then a court date will be set so the officer can be there too. For a speeding ticket 99% of the time the officer never shows up hence you will be found not responsible. But yes you do have a valid argument with the radar not being calibrated. No matter as long as you are polite and dress accordingly you and file not responsible with the argument of not being calibrated your case will be dismissed.

I really want this...LOL Don't have the cash though. Crap. That sucker is nice and clean.

In Arizona the kids can hunt small game without taking Hunt Ed. Just big game and if they are between 10-14 they have too. I use to run around out in the hills when I was young (in the 80's) with sks, shootgun, 22's, with no one around. I never did get hurt and I was safe. Mind you i was around 8 or 9 when I use to do this. But of course I knew the consequences if I did something wrong.

I blame Obama for this.
