    New Custom Build Started

Lance, They do have one in the MRAD version just like the MOA version. http://info.sightron.com/Riflescopes/SIII-First-Focal-Plane/SIIISS624X50LRFFP-MH/ Look at the technical page bottom left corner has the reticle. Just thought i would let you know.
  2. Have you guys seen the new Ruger Precision Rifle? Looks like a great entry rifle into the long range world. Check out the link below. http://www.ruger.com/micros/rpr/models.html
  3. I believe it would use AI mags 308 size of course. Yes AR 10 style gear will fit for like the stock and grip.
  4. Gas guns and Bolt guns are completely different in accuracy. Yes gas guns will be accurate but not as accurate as a bolt gun. Just tighter tolerances in the bolt guns. They made this one so if you want to change for instance grip or stock style you could without having to buy another full stock. Being able to modify your grip or stock to custom fit you is very beneficial to achieving the comfort your are after. The more comfortable you are the better you can shoot.

    Creedmoor Guys

4 were savage style actions and the last is the one in my signature. If you go with a chassis style get a manners like mine becuase it only weighs 2.5 lbs. They are VERY expensive but well worth the cash. The modular style chassis systems are very heavy. If you are only shooting bench or PRS then get whatever you want but for hunting Manners even makes a Carbon fibre Chassis stock that weighs 25 oz. That is what I wanted but did not want to wait for 1 lbs difference.

    Dented brass on resize.

Same here with the sizing wax works the best. Just a little on my thumb and finger goes along ways. Most of that spray Lube makes the die feel sticky. Use the wax and it will be as smooth as a baby's a....

    Big TY to BigBrowns

We will all have to go up into the high country and do a shoot out from 500 to 1500 yards. Camping and all.
  16. Go with the Manners Carbon elite stocks I believe they weigh 20 oz give or take a few oz. That is what I first wanted but went with a normal chassis stock which weighed 2.5 lbs.

    Would you re-barrel a DPMS 260 AR

I have heard that the AR is more accurate in the 6.5 cm than the .260 and all around better gas gun with the 6.5 CM. I also heard that you do not want to use the H4350 in the gas gun like the normal bolt. Did you ever try like Varget with a 130 bullet? Also what you are trying to achieve is better in a bolt gun for accuracy. Don't get me wrong the gas gun can be accurate but not like the bolt. Try loooking at the shilen barrel with bolt start there I know shilen makes great products. Ya your DPMS is good enough as any other to build onto. Go for it.

    Looking for dies and Bullets

extremestore.us is where i get all my 6.5 140gn VLD. They usually are the cheapest and always have them in stock. Get the whidden dies I have been through all the different brands with whidden being the most polished like glass dies. I have actually sized 6 cases in a roll without lube they are that smooth and very little sizing perfect for brass life.

    Reload accessory tips?

I had the same one at first but they just dont last. As much as I was tumbling the little cans were great for like 20 or so cases. But you are correct Desertbull it does work. You will still have to buy stainless pins. You could make your own tumbler. Heck I have even seen 50 gal tumblers...LOL

    Reload accessory tips?

Everyone I going to stainless tumbling. Google it and watch some videos. With only 100 pieces of brass they will be done in 1 to 2 hours.

    Reload accessory tips?

I have tried 3 sonic cleaners and all suck IMO. Then of course vibratory tumblers with walnut and corn do a good job polishing but does not get the inside clean. The STAINLESS steel tumbling will do both the stainless steel pins clean everything out. Your brass will be brand new when done. After I stainless tumble I then anneal and throw back into the same tumbler but with corn cob to polish. Classes have stayed clean with no tarnishing up to 1 year.
