$245 for the 95 quart one???

The whole gun safe thing bothers me some. I have a fire proof safe that I keep every one of my "good" guns and optics in. However it started to occur to me that if there is a fire, do I really want it? I would maybe be better to get a rider on al my gear and have them pay out then to have them say that my swaros are still ok because they were in a safe, but do I really want to be using swaros that were cooked to 900 degrees? I realize it may keep them from physically starting on fire, but they may well still be wrecked?

Bulletproof. My uncle had the same one on his ranch. It had an odometer on it and when they traded it off a few years ago it had 90,000 miles on it and they never touched it! They got $1800 trade in for it and it was trashed!!! They hold there value too. This one is worth every penny

Really good hunt, rivals AZ units. Rut is hit or miss that time of year but this year has the earliest season dates they have for it so it could be good. Tough part is drawing it, single digit odds.

That brings up an interesting question, if there was a hunt unit for desert and you shot a ram like that, 1: would it be legal? 2: what would it count as for B&C, slams, etc?

After seeing some pics from this years Ibex hunt I realized I never put up pics from my hunt last year! I have to thank Addict from CWT for all of his help. Those of you that have met Zac know he is the love child of a Grizzly bear sow and an Ibex billy! He helped me out more then I can describe on this hunt! I also met Kilmanjaro from the site and PSEps. Scott did the taxidermy work on my billy and I couldn't be happier! I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone looking for a taxidermist (he's out of Tucson, you can PM him on here or look him up at Global Destinations Taxidermy). Derek (PSEps) is probably the nicest kid I've ever met in my life, he stuck with us (after just meeting us) and helped us till the end (after multiple misses....) He knows more about ibex then I think anyone out there, and he's one of the most humble people I've ever known. I had some issues with the turret on my gun and missed more ibex then I'd like to admit. We ended up pulling it all together the last day with 264 yard shot on a beautiful coated billy. He isn't the biggest one on that rock, but it's one of the best hunting memories I have, and I got to share it with my brothers! I've got serious respect for the billies on that rock, and the hunters who go after them, they are by far the most spectacular animal I've ever hunted, and I feel incredibly lucky to have gotten the chance!

This is why you aren't supposed to drink the bong water.

Snow Goose Hunt

How many did you shoot? Looks like you found some juvies that day atleast! I'm chomping at the bit for them to get to ND. -
Do I have to go in draw for Arizona Coues Whitetail?
yotebuster replied to aushunter's topic in Coues Deer Hunting in Arizona
I have to fly to LA or Houston first. But you wouldn't have to clear customs until you get to Mexico I wouldn't think. I've flown with guns through chile and Argentina en route to Uruguay and never had to declare anything until the final destination country. I could be wrong however. -
Updated-new pics. 3rd time's a charm-Chiricahua archery javelina

Awesome story! What kind of 45 mag do you have? I've always thought that was a cool cartridge! -
Zeiss Conquest or Bushnell Elite 6500????
yotebuster replied to mmtx10's topic in Optics and tripods
I've had a couple bushnell 6500's. they were the first one to have a 6.5x zoom back in the day so I was all over it for my coyote AR's as I thought a 2.5-15 would be the ultimate in close or way out calling rifle scope. It is, but not in a bushnell! They are fairly clear, adjustments seem to track, but there's the most awful edge distortion I've ever seen on those scopes. Don't be fooled, you aren't getting a $1200 scope for $485. You're getting a $200 scope for $485. Go with the zeiss all the way. I own 5 of em and love them. -
Can anyone answer this question? I have looked into them and it looks like a smaller speaker and a diff battery pack but I'm not sure otherwise.

Why not fly directly into Mexico? -
What's the difference between this and the Krakatoa? I'm looking at a Krakatoa for snow goose hunting in ND but this looks very similar.
-
I compared the Nikon omega and the leupold slam side by side, hands down no comparison the leupold won. Clarity, quality, ease of use etc. leupold. I have a zeiss conquest 3.5-10 with a Kenton turret on mine, I'm not a fan of holdover dots but if you are go with the leupold

What Have You Killed With A 10mm?
yotebuster replied to GlockMan's topic in Handgun Hunting for Coues Deer
I've got a couple 20's. I've killed a pile of skunks, racoons and badgers with mine, and even a few black birds. Make sure your hand is large enough for the grip on the big framed glocks though. -
Fox, front legs are shorter then back legs on a grey fox, coyote has longer front legs or atleast more equal to back legs
-
Haha. The old forked G2 automatically = hybrid argument has started up again!!! Nice COUES buck!!!
-
How'd you check?
-
Is this Sonoran Dark horn outfitters? I've seen a lot of stuff about them, seemed legit, but never looked into it too closely.
-
Don't do this to me!!!! You're making me all twitchy.

It was 2am the night before the deadline

I tried submitting my apps this eve, ended up with an error message for my first attempt at antelope. Tried it again from the start and got a success including a confirmation number, so that went through. Then when I tried elk it did the same thing so I tried again, same and again. Same. Never got a confirmation number for that one. So u double checked my online cc info and I've gotten hit 4 times for the app fee. No bueno. I will call game and fish ASAP in am, but last time I had a question they turned me over to a third party which had a different phone number. Anyone out there have that number so I could save the inevitable 2 hour wait on the phone at game and fish?
