What is considered accidental.... I doubt mass shottings are "accidental" in addition how many patients do the doctors in America see in a year? I can make any statistical data favor any argument..... However people kill people with guns... A gun is a tool

for the record, I did not call you retarded, but the email received from the nameless post is retarded in MY opinion... also I am no math major, but if there were 7 then 16..isn't that a 128.57 increase....

I shot a buck pushing a doe, I did not see any rutting, but he would not leave her side.

I am pretty sure the tags go fast as there is no draw. First come, First served. Its always seems to be a mystery when the tags will go on sale. I have wanted to hunt the res for many years. If you do, good luck!

*****Updated with Story and Pics****What's your hunting style?
Redman replied to gaps's topic in Rifle hunting for Coues Deer
great story and way to stick with it.. rule of thumb, where there are junipers there are WT (WT are found even lower.. i shot mine this year at around 2500) -
very cool for the last few years I have been hunting MD in NM with my muzzleloader, I think I am going to WT next year
-
I have been using a 300 WSM for about 8 years, its not too much, I had to tame it with a muzzle break. My buddy has one also, he hand loads, 165 Accubonds get my stock gun shooting <1 inch groups at 100 yds.... my son has shot three cow elk with it, all 3 have folded like a cheap card table. In full disclosure I am thinking of getting a 6.5 caliber...

Awesome way to fill that archery tag before the end of the year.... keep shooting as January is right around the corner, your spot may pay off twice.

What is the best all around binocular magnification?
Redman replied to PelaPapas's topic in Optics and tripods
Nikon or Vortex are manufactures that make higher quality at a lower price. Zen-Ray is another that produces good binoculars. Unfortunately like most things in life, buy nice or buy twice.... you get what is paid for.... not saying any thing bad about less expensive binoculars, often the more glassing one does the more they realize inexpensive binoculars don't meet their needs and end buying a new pair. -
Finally, put an arrow through this fine buck!

Thanks everybody for the replies, one of the hardest things (as I am siting at home right now) with punching a Dec tag early is all the days given up that one could be hunting... its not even finding a bigger deer... its just being out (and of course the what if's a monster is found...). Luckily Jan archery is right around the corner, pig tag on the fridge and OTC deer tag soon to be purchased. Good luck to the rest that have tags.

To our despair, Desert Ridge lost to Hamilton in the Semi-Finals two weeks ago... Hamilton congrats on your hard earned State Championship.... luckily that freed up the weekend for my son's jr hunt. We went out on Fri and saw a bunch of does, our buddy glassed one buck for a brief moment, windy terrible day. Top off a horrible day with the Cats losing to ASU…. On Saturday we get up the hill before light and spot a small 2x3 soon after the sun rises continuing to glass a huge buck is spotted in the same area, Tyler gets set up on shooting sticks and takes the shot... miss. He gets another crack, another miss... dad had a coronary...knew he needed a better rest, shouldn't of had him shoot... good learning experience for him (and I)... he we stayed on the hill for a couple of hours, spot another small buck... then decide to head to another area. Eat lunch, glass, does, buck, spike, does... sun going down. Head to another spot for a final look before the sun goes down. Glass a nice buck, filled with excitement "lay down right here"... big buck can't tell you where (cause I began helping my son set up), he's in this area, get ready... buddy says he's right by the big rock... perfect landmark.... son sets up in prone position off bi-pod, range the deer, Accubond is let lose from 300 WSM, wack.. he rolls over and is done.. fantastic buck...but the one that he missed earlier was… huge. Darn camera battery died before decent pics could be taken... This buck tops his from last year…. Tyler has one more year of Jr hunts… but my 9 year old will begin his coues journey next year!! his buck from last year.

I wonder why people complain about road hunters.... if they are road hunting...and you can see them... where are you? you must be close to a road for the road hunters to bother you.

I have a 2006 ranger no belt problems but did replace the factory belt with a Kevlar belt. I would opt for one with power steering, that darn ranger has almost broke my thumbs numerous times (when I am driving and hit a rock it jerks the steering wheel and if your thumbs are in the place....ouch)
