Kenny, I wouldn't recommend burning any points on this hunt, I had a tag two years ago do I burned one, but I wanted to. After u get your early put in the following year, it could be awesome hunt. Mine was slow but still h Awesome spottin and stalkin them! Good luck

they have had closures on that road on occasions but lately there has been a forest service guy sitting at the top letting only a certain number in.

I know this doesn't fit in this topic but I'm looking for info on forest closures for camping. We are wanting to start camping in two weeks in the pines and can't find an updated map or literature on forest that may be closed to camping. I know the fire warnings on cp fires but wanna know what's closed all around or somewhere as the rain falls gets opened up. Thanks for any help!

Well I'm looking for a bow for her to up her game. She has been shootin a youth bow but a diamond edge , but it's not built like a women's bow. She shot the heart breaker and jewel and can't decide which one, I know the jewel is crazy in price but it's not like I'm buying a bow a year for her this will last for awhile. I just can't find anywhere that may sell the bowtech heart breaker just the bare bow, I want different sight and rest then what it comes with. If that is what she wants. Just wondering if any ladies on here have heartbreaker experience. Thx

Had out camera out for a couple days and had a ton of critters hittin the water. Every time we go to it to set the camera up or get the card we see our lil buddy the black bear hanging close. The camera didn't catch him swimming through the water but u can see the trail he left! Bought a go pro last week and yesterday took it to work for a helicopter ride. So far im impressed with the ease and the video this lil thing puts out. Today is the archery test and ill let ya know how it goes. If anyone has any tips or comments or experience with these i would love to hear about it!
