for 129$ that's a good deal. original price is a rip. when it's cold I had trouble with the volume and with the sound selection from about 50yds and about 25 deg. works ok when not so cold. for and entry level caller it does fine but if your really into callin save up and buy a better caller. nothing wrong with glassing from or near your vehicle... I mean come on you can spot deer from a mile away. road hunter= someone who drives around until he sees an animal he would like to shoot. but driving your vehicle from place to place glassing at your stopping points is not road hunting. maybe the person is out of shape, disabled, old and can't get around so much. I broke my leg twice (diff times) broke my back, shattered my left foot including all my toes, ligament replacement/repair on left knee (acl/mcl/miniscus). I still hike around as much as possible but sometimes I only have so many miles in me! If you have a problem with that Suck it! James

do what you know... where you've seen bucks. don't think the big ones are going just yet but you can bet they are cruising checking scents and scrapes. get up high and glass. with the cooler weather/new moon, winter solstice, stars aligning, planets spinning, the wind blowing just right; the bucks should stay out longer cruising main street looking for a hot date. LOL! as long as it's not super windy... if so check the cuts that are out of the wind. James

I read an article not long ago... maybe I think it was 1 of the sponsors on here... they do like spot n call. said they glass em up and put the stalk on and then get within a 100 yds or so and hit the horns... sometimes they hit the grunt tube and 50% of the time they get a buck coming in. I am going to give it a try this year... I had 3 does come in with a fork horn in tow once when I used a grunt tube (muleys) they came from over 200yds on a string. I blew my chance... I never thought they would come and my bow was still in the sling... James

people that smoke weed are gonna smoke weed. legalizing it will not make a bunch of addicts! you can tax it and sell it cheaper than the drug lords and still make a killing thus putting them out of business in the marijuana category ... can't remember the # but it was a big amount that would be collected in taxes. cigarettes kill 10,000s a year. drunk drivers kill thousands a year.... but thats ok... why because they tax the crap out of it! I don't think legalizing weed is a big deal... not going to cause rash of crime. legalize it and TAX IT! TAX WEED NOT ME! James
