At 7yards 2 3/4 #9 dove load will kill a turkey. buy lots of options and test them

All of them lol. I have a vest with 3 or 4 in each pocket. but custom sound the best. ia born and little creek calls !!!!!!! I’ll be on a 6a jr hunt and 35a goulds hunt this year. Not bad for a guy that’s a non hunter

I have been on one antelope hunt but I scouted a ton and hunted 10 strait days before I was able to kill one. It was an archery hunt in 5b but I saw 10x the number of animals during the hunt vs a summers worth of scouting. So if you’d only seeing a few scouting don’t worry , they are there.

in sept in 35a saw several mature bucks and managed to kill one I had trouble in 35a on the jr hunt but I think it was due to the heat and moon. was in 35b after Christmas on the late rifle hunt saw plenty of bucks in the 90-100 range was in 29 jan12-15 bucks were alittle smaller but it was my first time and didn’t really know the area -
