I don't know the details of his shooting position. He may have been off the road (didn't ask). Brother and nephew got the hunter on the bull early this am. Got into position were 179 yards away when the side by side pulled and shot. They think he had a couple of spotters. Guys first bull. He may not have ever known they were there until they walked out.

He got the bull congrats to the hunter.

Ok todays archery hunt turned almost exclusively to bears. Saw a nearly white blonde with black that was about 3/4 of its size (3 total today). We all know you can not shoot a sow with cubs. But what constitutes a cub? And what if two bears are just traveling 'packed up'? The black bear in the pic if by itself looked full size. the white bear was something special. sorry for the crappy pics.
