Dang! Some crazy stuff! Good to see it doesn't just happen to us. Definitely didn't hit him directly. You can actually see the bullet and where it hits. I re-watched it frame by frame and it looks like something hits the bucks neck. It could have been a rock or a piece of the bullet who knows. I'll try and post the video or pics when I get the chance.

I recently came across a guy on YouTube pirating some of my coues footage. Any of you guys ever have someone else use your hunting pics or videos with out your permission? Curious to see if this is the norm no days in the hunting world.

Guess I'm just too laid back to get all worked up over this. Maybe if I actually thought my footage would help his business then I would think differently about it but him using a couple 5 second clips of mine in a few of his videos isn't going to help him enough or hurt me enough to worry about it. The principle of it bugs me the most but we all make mistakes lord knows I have made my fair share of some pretty dumb decisions in the past. For now all I'm going to do is let him know what I think and wait and see how he responds and go from there.

True. Sweet maybe a can get a free subscription.👍 Now that I know he's in the "game finding" biz I feel like he owes me some game finding or something. Maybe we can work out a deal where he can use my footage and in return he has to give me game finding lessons.

Seriously though I don't know the guy. He could be the nicest guy around and I definatly don't want any unwarranted negatively going his way over something like this. Yes I put a lot of time and effort in my videos but that's it. I don't make any money from them and he probably didn't gain anything for having my footage in his videos. Yea it's kind of flattering in a way. Pretty sure I'm not the only one this guy is taking footage from. He has about 10 or so videos out as of now and at the start of every one there's some pretty good live animal footage of elk, mule deer, and coues. I get the feeling none of this animal footage is his because if he was able to get all this other footage then he should have no problem getting his own coues stuff. Like I said I'm not too worried about it more curious on how common this type of thing is. I think I remember hearing about an outfitter using other hunters kill photos in their advertising without permission but that's about it.

I'm not too concerned with it as of now. Probably just write the guy an email and ask him to give me credit when he uses my stuff.

Well it's that time of year again. If you're anything like me you spend most of your time thinking about the up coming draw. Looking over old pics and videos reliving past hunts. Staying up searching for new potential honey holes on Google Earth. Trying to figure out where to put in for ect ect.... I love it! It's also that time of year when I like to make youtube videos and share them with my fellow coues nuts on CW.COM. I just finished putting together a video of my cousin's 2020 Dec hunt where he got his biggest buck to date this beautiful 4x5. The hunt started off slow with us being fogged in most of the morning. It wasn't until around 10am the fog would finally start lifting. Shortly after the fog clearing we found his buck about a mile out feeding with another buck. We watch him for awhile trying to figure out if he was a opening day shooter or not. To be honest I was hoping my cousin wouldn't want to go after him not because I didn't think he was a good buck but because I didn't want to be done hunting so early. After about an hour the bucks ended up dropping down in a small canyon out of sight. Not knowing exactly where they went we knew our chances of relocating the buck was not very good but we still decided to go after him. So we packed up and a couple hours later we found ourselves overlooking the canyon where we last saw the buck. We spent the next 3 hours taking apart the canyon with little luck. Only finding 4 or 5 does and one small buck. We did glass up a 4 point shed which we later found out was from this buck which was pretty cool. Anyways just when I thought we weren't going to relocate the buck Dallas turned him up across the canyon at about 300 yards and the rest is history. Thank you Jfos. I also grew up in the Gila Valley. I haven't lived there in over 15 years but everytime I visit it still feels like home. I agree with you definitely a beautiful area.

My guess is that you shot her on the wrong side of the fence and then took some trophy pics of her under the power lines in the background.
