Coupe pics from the cams, looks like a healthy lion for this time of year and a nice bear and few little guys
-
I remember that pic from a while back. Whatever happened to that buck you guys called Big Sweet?
-
Just wondering if anyone has seen any coues with this abnormal coloring (not talking about its fawn). Its not dramatic, but have never seen it before.

Awesome video. Thanks for sharing

I finally found a fresh brown shed while me and my brother were replenishing a salt. It was only 5 ft from the salt pit!! And last year I happened to find the right side of this deer that we had on cam only a couple of times. It wasn't a shed, but was broken off just above the eye guard. The deer it came off of Gonna go out again in a week and hopefully find some more

AZ Ground Pounders Coues Deer Management
DrRx09 replied to AZ Ground Pounders's topic in AZ Ground Pounders Outfitters Blog
Sounds like you guys got it down, and can prove it with some seriously ridiculous deer. I've seen how not taking a "management" buck can be detrimental in the overall scheme of things. Haven't taken a certain buck, and now there are 2, possibly 3 bucks with the same horrible genetic make up. Great post -
I went with Weller's and couldn't be happier. I've also seen Devin's work and it is also top notch. Cant go wrong with either

That buck is a stud. Thanks for sharing the video -
Don't believe the 1/4 mile rule applies to bow hunting if that's the OP's plan. I'd say go for it

I won't be able to conference from Tucson, but I sent my emails again opposing this new rule to the commission and I think everyone should as well!!! http://www.azgfd.gov/inside_azgfd/commission_members.shtml

FOUND: two lost photo related devices - photos of owners added
DrRx09 replied to Viper's topic in Lost and Found
I'm guessing that these hunters left a camera with an SD card in it. Why remove someone's stuff then post that you are trying to give it back? And a "bait bucket" isn't really a photo related device. Personally I think that these guys have a good set up, and Viper is doing a good thing trying to get the guys SD card and anything else back to them. -
To my surprise Gavin at Weller's Wildlife Taxidermy gave me a call to let me know my January archery buck was ready for pick up. I could not be happier! The team did a great job with the mount and fixing the broken G2. Big thanks to Gavin and his team for some great work! Pictures definitely do not do it justice, but thought I would share. The field photo

What a great buck, and great story! Congrats on your first coues deer! -
Congratulations to your daughter! Awesome first deer

what's stopping anyone from doing that with the current rules? 50 piles of corn per square mile of public land and a blind or treestand at every pile! where the heck do you see this? I sure as heck don't see any corn piles in the units I hunt. Take a walk around unit 23 in august. Like Stephen said above, that's BS. And if it is true they don't know what they're doing. Deer in August will rarely come to feed when given the natural food that's around. I'd like to see pictures of this so called 50 corn piles per square mile.

What's Bin Laden have to do with this?

Daughter's first up close encounter with some deer
DrRx09 posted a topic in Photography of Coues Deer and Other Wildlife
Had a chance to take my daughter up to the mountains for her first experience with these deer up close. Had a chance to take a couple pics of some small bucks that came by. Both these guys were 15 yds away. -

She's 5, so the early morning was a little rough, but she thought it was great and really enjoyed it -
