That is a great hunt. Have to be patient but it will be worth it. With all the rain right now, there are elk everywhere and the grass is 2 feet tall so feed is also all over the place. Dont worry about road hunters or how many people have the tag. The elk will be in there. Watch the snow--a bunch of elk push off the higher elevations when it starts falling.

Today @ 1630 I finally sealed the deal. 64 yards. 4a is filled with people but the elk are there. Not bad for first kill finally!

I can say, sitting in the audience inside tims toyota was amazing. Words really cant describe how awesome it was.

Just something you have to be ready for. I carry a knife with me just for that reason . Its a good dive. There was a lot of people there fishing but we keep our distance. They never believe us that the fish are attracted to us. They think we are just out there to mess them up.

If you are interested in a good dive close to home here in Northern Arizona, check this one out. Still learning how to use the gopro better, but you get to see the fish about 4 mins or so in. We seen some big bass last Saturday! All fish were in 12-17 feet of water.
