Who cares? Deer draw is easy, if you put in for anything other than the strip, kaon an or December whitetail you probably got drawn. And if you didn't, well then you probably didn't. I have drawn my 1st choice deer hunt like 7 years in a row. What are you guys so anxious about?

This is true. But I hunt A LOT less now than before they were born. Oldest turns 7 this year, I am hoping in the coming years the pendulum swings back the other way. Make it a big year brother.

Deep well is always available. Walk in access to the public. Unfortunately, you don't have a lot of other options. Plenty of goats, no need to fret. Enjoy your hunt.

It has an color indicator on the side that supposedly changes if it's no good. Says right on it not to use if color is changed. At $360 a set (you now have to buy 2 at a time), I am going to use them right up to the expiration date. Hopefully I figure out my trigger and not worry about it so much. Unfortunately I have no idea what could set it off.

How many of you guys hunt with an epi-pen? I have recently developed a severe allergy to something, no idea what. This morning it tried to kill me with a full on case of anaphylaxis w/shock. Luckily I live 5 minutes from Banner Gateway and they hit me with some epinephrine and got me back on my feet. It was a scary deal, my blood pressure got down to 50/11 at one point. Of course my first thought when I got home was, what if this happened in a camp, or on a trail, or some other God forsaken place not within a quick drive of emergency help. What do you guys with epi-pens do on hunts? Do you carry a sat phone additionally, my reaction to the epi was about as bad as the shock, so the thought of convulsing for hours alone in the woods isn't real appealing. Do you still hunt alone? With this still being unidentified I am pretty nervous about what could have happened. Just wondering what other guys do.

Usually that means you drew 19a instead of 9 or 28 instead of 27. In this case, sounds like an upgrade.

You'll have to figure out a way every year. They expire about every 18 mos and by the time they sit on the shelf in the pharmacy it's hard to find one with more than a year of shelf life. Got my double pack yesterday and started packing today. Have an appointment with the allergist next week to get a consultation. I have a feeling this is going to cost me a fortune to figure out. I don't like to wait until the last minute but thanks to my brother we kind of did this time. Just submitted two apps and both went through without an issue, could it be, could the website actually work?!

I have had asthma all my life, which complicates this. I am diligent about carrying an inhaler and have had it under control for years now, although seasonal changes and exercise can cause flare ups. Thanks for all the tips. I can't let this keep me out of the woods.
