rcdinaz replied to Outdoor Writer's topic in Classified Ads
I will take it. Can you PM me with the account you want PayPal sent to? Also I may not be able to pick it up right away since I am out of town most of this week. Thanks! Rich -
Me too! I tend to keep everything like a pack rat so I won't be getting rid of mine. Great deal on great binos!

Get 10 of your closest friends to camp that week and set up ground blinds 100 yards from every treestand, you know for taking pictures. Make sure you do all your woodcutting early or late also.... I would never do something like this and I have never even hunted that unit but I am surprised there havent been groups doing this type of stuff. I am continuously shocked that people will go out and mess with property that is not theirs or claim a natural resource is for their sole use. On a coues hunt a few years back we actually ran into a guy pouring corn everywhere and then trying to waive hunters off an entire ridge. This was in an area we have hunted off an on for close to 30 years. Some peoples capacity for enormous amounts of stupid is amazing.

No pic? Salt works very well although when I used to use the sweet stuff (deer cain, etc) it seemed to draw more deer while the elk stayed on the salt even if they were 10-20 yds apart.

I have been using various Rino's for years, since the first little yellow 110's. The ability to see others especially your kids is invaluable. That being said I agree you can get a $59 Motorola or cobra that will be a much better radio as far as range. All of them are still pretty limited if you are behind a hill or in a canyon without something close to line of site to the other party. You can improve the Rino by using the high freq which requires an operator license. I am slowly making the change to just using a smartphone with GPS apps wherever I can get away with it.

Those look great! I want one, just have to figure out how to get a trip set up.

Fantastic! Always great to see the kids get hooked. I have all daughters and the oldest one can shoot and loves it always great to hear her tell the guys all of the different guns she has used and watch them clam up.

Very nice! Glad someone got it figured out this year!

Let's take a quiz.....

good list! For #2 it is amazing that a politician whose husband was already president can even get this out of her craw with out choking on the words... If applied shouldnt she be driving to get someone else elected? And, I have still never heard a good reason for... Absence of mandatory voter ID The strictest border security possible (fence, Nat Gaurd) Progressive tax rates Votes and control (pandering) are the only things that make sense! -
Beautiful Bear, Any suggestions on mounts?

Rug! It is a classic and I am dying to get one up on the wall at our cabin! Right next to the lion -
Austin is a great city with a lot to do. You may have to drive some but Texas is a great place to hunt & fish. You also have the added bonus of being much closer to a flyway which may turn you into a duck or goose hunter in which case your fall and winter will have less days than you need for all the potential hunting you could do. As well as trips to the gulf, oh and free reign in some places for feral hogs if you find the right land owners and can make the trip. AZ has great potential opportunities but is really one of the hardest places to consistently hunt due to our draw system and popularity with non-resident hunters.

Yep, this is one of the best sites overall no just for Coues. A lot of helpful hunters willing to exchange info and give advice. Send a PM to "Ernesto C" as well he sets up a lot of hunts in Mexico for a lot of people and will answer any questions you have and help with anything you need.

Borrow one... Pelican cases are indestructible but you can get away with a high end Plano. Surely someone will loan you one, you could easily offer them all the info you learn from your hunt and tell them you will help them out if they ever decide to make the same trip. Info like that is invaluable as the learning curve can be steep.

I say go for it! If nothing else you gain experience with a new tactic. I am sure it won't work 100% of the time and there is probably a bit of an art to having a goat think your one of them and not a clown version of them. I would start the experiment while scouting so you learn a little before your hunt. Oh and looking ridiculous, who cares when your posing for pics with your trophy. This worked 100's -1,000's of years ago for all of the tribes across the world who were chasin game with rocks, sticks, and other pointy objects. I think their pictures wearing a buffalo or stag head look bad a$$. Remember when you were the first guy who showed up in full camo and the older members of your party teased you about the cute tree outfit years ago.... Well they all have it in their gear bag now.

Me too! Most of them can make you sick or at least rather your dog. I dont imagine you are planning on sucking on one anytime soon so you should be fine. I think you would have to eat one or carry it around in your mouth for quite a while like some dogs will before it would hurt you.
