might be helpful to state location.

Anybody ever used Busby's back in the day -- not the cleanest or reputable around. I sure hope they get another one in Tucson. WGP II certainly does not have the capacity needed but they do a good job.

The chart on p 22 of the current regs has this chart. I suspect it would be the same as pneumatic weapons, although most would not be powerful enough for larger critters like coyote. As a "newbie", get to know the regs well and save yourself a lot of grief.

The Ruger part (instead of Win 70) was because Butch said so.

Ruger M77 .270 in 1976 from Jensen's. It is still the only rifle I have harvested any big game to include my sheep. Cuz Jack O'Connor said so.

I SO WANT TO REACH OUT AND SMACK YOU!

It is not there ... can't find what is not there!

And just where in the regs is that? Book, Chapter, and Verse.

I choose to never go down there again. When the State Dept recommends against it, a couple is kidnapped in Agua Prieta the same weekend I was there, and the Mormon Family was executed a few months later ... that is three strikes and I'm outta there.

" I would think they would give a little more notice than 4 or 5 days for the card deadline." That is very naïve. Hasn't it been usually update by end of day Th and draw starts (not last time, of course) Friday?

I think we have come across a new way to advertise and sell. Crazymonkey: let me know what else you are wanting to sell and I will put up an ad asking about it. Then reply after a couple of suggestions and watch the feeding frenzy occur. Of course I will take 10%. The CZ (and Savage and Henry) is in a whole different league compared to the cricket. Lack of response of a day may have led to the confusion on this one. Those less expensive CZ are no longer made and don't come around very often. This one is much more expensive that the cricket, though. I contacted him immediately and got an immediate response but the geographical problem played in. I also recommended the requestor jump on it, as you see. Perhaps the original requestor does not live on the computer -- where are your priorites??? Since there are no written protocols about this: what kind of response time do you all feel is appropriate? Wait a day, a week, a month? Obviously, Crazymonkey feels bad about this so don't feel that ragging on him is appropriate. I have had things sold out from underneath me on this site before, but when there are unwritten rules that not everyone knows, what do you expect? The rule I have trouble with is Phx people selling things that only Tucson people are interested in. WHY???

In case anyone needs further proof of where our great country is going...
Big Tub replied to eddielasvegas's topic in The Campfire
Isn't that like the "tool" that OJ used? Was that in Cali? That would explain it. -
YOU SHOULD JUMP ON THIS!! I would if it were closer.

When I was looking, 2 stood out as better quality: The Savage Rascal and the Henry MiniBolt. ps: the CZ below is even better.

OH, PUPPIES! -
G&F commission voted unanimously to ban trail cams
Big Tub replied to huntlines's topic in The Campfire
Should it worry us that there was significant opposition to the ban yet they voted unanimously? Why bother with comment periods? Seems eerily familiar to a presidential election where the outcome seems to be established before the voting began. -
So ... whatcha you gonna do after you purse that dang bull and catch it? Oh wait, we're not talking moo cows! Never mind !!!

I know with sheep, they want the Wildlife Manager to check it out before you take it. Not sure about deer. BUT and you imagine an old, crusty WM trying to go down there to see it? NO THANK YOU.

"pickup" ... caught me funny -- I would love to see someone pick that up! Congrats on the sell.

location?

just too stuck in my ways to change now!

Poor millennials. YOU don't give a subject on a hunting forum and then get upset about us giving you a hard time. I had to go through 2 pages just to figure out you were talking investing and AMC stock. But it has been fun. At least that one AMC car, I think the Eagle, was all wheel drive so you could stretch that to of interest on an outdoor/hunting site.

I thought American Motors went out of business a long time ago. Gotta love that Gremlin.

If that is all your car can tow, stick to a tent and save your money for an upgrade later. Stick to paved or really good roads. If you take that car on a 2-track, you may end up on the news this time of year and not in a good way. We did tow a caboose trailer (think motorcycle towable trailer) that carried our tent and camping equipment all the way from here to Glacier National Park with a Chevy Cadavelier (daughter has it now in Montana and still runs well in the summer). Fuel economy suffered and we have gotten a lot smarter. Those cars are really not meant to tow. By the time you add all the weight of the schtuff you think you have to have, the car WILL be overloaded.
