32" Draw Length Options??

I did shoot a nitrum @ 31" and it felt a little short... -
I would be really interested, if you're able to iron out all the details.

I'm looking to purchase an entry level trail camera, somewhere in the budget of $120 or less if possible. After reading hundreds of customer reviews, it seems like the cheaper ones always get crappy reviews? Ive found a couple of older model cuddebacks online for cheap. I found a moultrie a-5 new for $60, and a stealthcam g30 for $99. Does anyone have experience with these models? Any opinions on the best trail cam for under $100. Any advice would be greatly appreciated...

i just saw a teaser commercial for the 26 Nosler. I was curious and started googling, I was reading chuck hawks review about the significant wind drift for the size and weight of bullet, then i ended up on a field and stream review. Is this bullet only dropping about 5 inches out to 400 yards. Is this normal when compared to other 6.5 calibers, the 26 nosler has my attention. I was already thinking about getting a 6.5 creedmor or a 6.5x284 normal. Anybody else hear anything about this round, or do you think its all promotional and might not stand there test of time.
-
It sounds like the 26 nosler is just a super hot round, where as similar numbers can be obtained using other 6.5mm's. Ammo for 26 is $60 a box. I guess i was more curious if other 6.5's had similar drops to 500 yards. I know what my 7mm does at 500 and its easy to dial for the drop. I guess the 26 isnt good for the person that like to shoot his rifles often and wants to hunt with them too.

The review says 600-800 rounds before the barrel starts to fall off. Yikes.

I would love to record that put it on YouTube lol

ctracingraptor replied to daverp's topic in Elk Hunting
My friend and i both have 5B tags, first elk tags for both of us. Wont be setting the bar very high on our first elk hunts. Probably not going to pass on anything first day. Just happy to be out of the house, and try to fill the freezer. -

Any special reason why to stay away from long lake and diablo canyon?

I kinda agree, i think i would rather go with quantity versus quality. I have just read so many bad reviews of cams "missing pics." what the point of having multiple low grade cams, if they consistently miss 20-50% of the shots? Also the whole infared light thing has me lost also. It seems light most come with IR light, some are black bulbs, some are white. Some create a blinding white flash who they complain, scares off game? Any opinions on that also?

Opinions wanted on Heavy duty trucks

Im a ford guy, and yes I work at a dealership. im telling you the 6.7 is an awesome engine, you will be seeing the 6.7 around for another 5 years, they have no plans to change it. I could tell you some secrets....lol but id rather share in private. It rides better than most. Will tow anything, as they all will. They all use DEF fluid, so what, fill it up only when you change the oil, no biggie. There are no problems with ford transmissions, i mean none. The only downfall to a 6.7 is the engine braking could be more aggressive when towing. Are you towing something very heavy? A properly equipped f-150 will tow 11,300 lbs..... -
Is this still for sale?

Let me know if you got a '99 powerstroke with a bad tranny, lying around also, i would really be interested then...

KYB vs. Bilstein vs. Rancho
ctracingraptor replied to My Rights As An American's topic in The Campfire
Either the bilsteins or the rancho will work for whatever you will need on a stock vehicle. I personally went with rancho on my WJ, only because i saved a bunch. Your not going to get a significant performance upgrade at those prices, unless you step up to remote reservoir setup. But since you stated you are just a weekend warrior either will work. Just so you know october is know as SHOCKTOBER!!!! at orielly auto parts, buy 3 rancho shocks get a 4th free. Might want to look into it and see how much you can save... And no, your coil springs will be just fine.. -

Rifle stock website...
ctracingraptor replied to ctracingraptor's topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
Thank you, it was redhawk rifles! -
I remember reading a post, possibly not in this section. But someone has a custom stock on their rifle. Of course i didn't save the website. I remember they sold a lot of stocks, with i believe would be their own spin and custom graphics on them. It wasn't from the major guys website, like boyds, houge, mcmillian, or hs precision. It would have been a 3rd party vendor, i remember seeing what appeared to be custom graphics on hs precision stocks, but i could be very wrong lol. I think they might have even been local? any help would be greatly appreciated.
