11 BP should get you into your choice of the best December Coues hunt. You are about 4 points behind for a late 12AW hunt in the bonus pass, and your chances are less than 5% in the 1-2 pass. 12BW muzzleloader or a select desert muzzleloader may be a viable option. 180" mule deer is like that 380" elk behind every tree in unit 9.

The past few weeks, I had the opportunity to visit two different, lesser-known slot canyons near Page, AZ. It was nice being one of only four people from your group in the slot, rather than one of hundred being herded like cattle though extremely well-known Antelope Canyon. At times, the canyons were too dark to use autofocus, so manual focusing in live-view with the aid of a Hoodman Loupe was used. Almost all of the images are focus stacks of several images using Zerene software, as I have found that a single shot at f/16 does not have the necessary DOF More images from these two trips can be seen in the slot canyon gallery. They are the last 16 images there. Thanks in advance for looking. https://www.plateaulightphotography.com/Landscapes/Arizona-Landscapes/Antelope-Canyon/

Leupold VX1 2-7x33mm LR Duplex I mounted this on a 17HMR, sighted it in, but decided to go with a different scope with PA. Has been to range only twice, but not hunted with. Glass is perfect. Slight ring marks. $190 shipped. USPS MO preferred, or f2f cash

Earlier in April, I had the opportunity to travel to some remote spots in northern Arizona with some landscape photographer friends. The white lines of the Moenave sandstone made for nice patterns in the eroded formations. We then descended into the bowels of the earth.

Looks like a relaxing spot. As they say, it is better to be lost in the woods, than found at home.

Does anyone have any experience with these copper bullets? They look like an option to try in my 6.5 WSM and 28 Nosler. https://www.badlandsprecision.com/category/2/bulldozer
