Got to love some summer time fishing!

Congratulations to you your family on your accomplishment. Spending time with loved ones in the outdoors are some of the best times!

I think my Australian Shepard was bit by a rattle snake. I noticed her head was swelled up yesterday and thought maybe she got hit by a car. But after looking at pictures of dogs with snake bites on the internet I think she might have been bitten by a snake. I think its too late to have ant venom administered. Has anyone encountered this issue and can give me any tips on making her more comfortable? Thanks Jason

Great Days!

Thanks for sharing.......How old is your little guy? -
I was working up there near St. George last August and did a bunch of hiking and glassing to just kill time. Found some nice bucks (PM sent). If I had that tag and the $$ to hire a guide, I would defiantly hire one. Lynn Johnson is another guide you might look into. One thing about the guides up there they defiantly know where the big boys are. But DIY is very possible also especially if you are up there for a month. Good Luck.

Early WT and first Turkey hunt for the wife and I cant wait! -
I have been told that of you imagine the ears sticking straight up and they don't touch the base of the cutters then your looking at a above average buck. I have never been drawn for speed goat either but I think I would have a hard time passing on him. Thanks for the post. JS

Are bipods really worth the extra weight?
AZ_SAWBUCK posted a topic in Rifles, Reloading and Gunsmithing
I dont really have any experience shooting with a bipod set up, but have noticed that the majority of the longrange guns that you guys are shooting are set up with them. I am having a 300 win mag (Remington 700, HS Precision stock) being built and am not sure if I should have a bi pod upt on it. Is the added accuracy they provide worth the extra weight when you start hiking in steep Coues country? What kind do you recomend? Thanks -
Neat adventure.... Thanks for sharing!

If it reads on the NM Game and Fish web site that you don't need a license I would see that as a green light. Go get em! I would clarify if that means a tag or hunting license though. The land or entrapment can be a different world if you know what I mean.

Apparently there are two guys named Joe Brown. If all the facts that this JR fellow works for a Joe Brown are true, then he has to work for a Joe L. Brown out of Payson. Google search pulls up JB Contracting LLC out of Payson. A lot of people might be getting this theft associated with the Joe Brown down in Tonto Basin. He owns Quality Pumping and J4 Excavating. He is very concerned that this negative association will impact his business and the safety of his property and family. They are not related to or even know the other JB out of Payson. I personally know Joe and his family and can assure everyone that these are some of the most upstanding people to be around. Joe only has one son and he's not a thief either, he is one of the most polite guys you will ever meet. Joe has paved some of the smoothest highways in the state that you all travel to get to your hunting spots, he is a great contractor and is one of the best in the state. If you need dirt work grading or paving look into the right Joe Brown. Please make a mental note or spread the word that you are associating the correct JB with the theft. Thanks JS Amanda, Please pin this (at least for a while)
