Sport Falconry License Application The sport of falconry (the use of raptors to obtain game animals) began in the 7th century and at times was restricted to the noblest of cultures. I didn't read anything about AZGFD donating money to other states, and I haven't seen where there were any extra special tags for the Azbiggamesupperraffle.

New Mexico gives only 6% of its tags to nonresidents; AZ, UT, CA, OR, MT, ID, WA, only allocate 10% of tags to nonresidents; South Dakota gives 0% to nonresidents. I believe Nevada also has a cap on NR. Wy. is trying hard to get deer, elk and antelope also capped at 10% to NR.

Pretty dang simple, if this doesn't interest you DON'T PUT IN.

If you were to win an auction tag or raffle tag you can exceed the bag limit for that species, back in the eighties there were so many leftover tags you could kill 2 deer a year as long as 1 tag was a leftover. Does Javelina sound familiar?

I just recently bought a CA Mesa in 300 win mag, CA's break in recommendation is 50 rounds. This sure seems like an awful lot for break in.

If it were my tag, I would definitely go to the sheep clinic if they still put it on. I would also contact the Region 6 AZGFD office and see if I could get in contact with the WM and the big game biologist.

If the AZGFD can conceivably make a baiting charge stick Duwane retiring from guiding won't help his cause. Baiting is a license revocable offense and that would defeat his reason for retiring since he wants to enjoy hunting with his grandchildren and children.

I believe it was 1998 but a young man working for Adams was busted by AZGFD but I don't believe Adams got into any trouble for it himself the guide lived in San Manuel. Haven't heard of any other issues since then. Plenty of AZ guides or guides that work for big name AZ guides have been busted for various violations over the years. Chad Smith, John McClendon, Steve Ward, Jed Larson, Ryan Hatch even Blake Owens worked for a guiding outfit I believe. Where there is big money to be made and even bigger egos there is bound to be some foul play going on. Right now Wade Lemons out of Utah has a couple felony charges over hanging him one of them has to do with a bear killed by Trump Jr.
