I just don't understand why the G&F department would introduce such a devicive issue into our state. It is hard enough getting hunters together to fight for our rights, but now the G&F is helping tear us apart?

The Border Patrol Camp on Ruby road is shutdown. I drove by the other day, and it is abandoned. I also talked to a agent out there, and he said it was closed due to budget cuts.

I think the only disease we as hunters should be worried about is the one our Game and Fish department has: Foot in Mouth Disease

I think this was said before, but if salt kills most bacteria/pathogens... why not just coat all corn and other feed in a salt solution and that would solve this whole problem. If that was really their concern this would be a much easier Fix instead of pissing off a bunch of hunters. Plus the deer would be able to get there feed and salt at the same time.

Our G&F department has lost their respect for us as hunters. This is a money game, and not much else really matters to them.

The Game and Fish department will open a whole new can of worms if they pass this. It will basically be the end of tree stand and blind hunting. Because, if I show up at a water hole and see someone eles stand, all I have to do is dump some corn out in front of the stand, and now nobody can hunt there... This will bring out the worst in hunters... Good job G&F!

You said to look it up, I looked thru all the forest service regulations I could find on line, and there is nothing on baiting... Do you know where I could find it?

I had heard this before, so I called the Coronado National Forest Service and asked to speak with a Law Enforcement Officer. I asked him about baiting on forest service land, and his response was as long as AZ Game and Fish say it's legal, it is legal. He said the Coronado does not have any laws or rules dealing with baiting. He told me that they have an agreement with Game and Fish that allow them to enforce AZ Game and Fish regulations. But anything dealing with hunting, falls under the Game and Fish regulations. Now as for leaving the pipe feeder on forest land, after 72 hours, it is considered abandoned property, and can be taken down. He said they recommend hunters take all equipment with them when they leave, but they have to find it first...
