Hicap40 is at it again...... Elk pics

Makes me wish I had a tag. It's been a long long long time for me...I guess I'm fortunate I get to go help my dad, mom, sister, and step dad all try and tag a bull elk this year; minus my sister with a early rifle cow tag.I don't mind being the caller(family guide)/packing grunt. Sure couldn't think of a better way to burn vacation time than in gods country chasing elk.

308Nut I tried to pm you but it said you can't receive PMs. I really appreciate the offer on the bullets! How many would you be willing to part with of the SMK's or the Bergers? What are you asking for them? I'm located in tucson. Thanks again, -Travis
  4. DIVORCE AGREEMENT WRITTEN BY YOUNG COLLEGE STUDENT The person who wrote this is a college student. Perhaps there is hope for us after all. DIVORCE AGREEMENT Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists and Obama supporters, et al: We have stuck together since the late 1950′s for the sake of the kids, but the whole of this latest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we tolerated each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has clearly run its course. Our two ideological sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right for us all, so lets just end it on friendly terms. We can smile and chalk it up to irreconcilable differences and go our own way. Here is a model separation agreement: Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a similar portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy! Our respective representatives can effortlessly divide other assets since both sides have such distinct and disparate tastes. We dont like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU. Since you hate guns and war, well take our firearms, the cops, the NRA and the military. Well take the nasty, smelly oil industry and you can go with wind, solar and biodiesel. You can keep Oprah, Michael Moore and Rosie ODonnell. You are, however, responsible for finding a bio-diesel vehicle big enough to move all three of them. Well keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street. You can have your beloved lifelong welfare dwellers, food stamps, homeless, homeboys, hippies, druggies and illegal aliens. Well keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms, greedy CEOs and rednecks. Well keep the Bibles and give you NBC and Hollywood. You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and well retain the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us. You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, well help provide them security. Well keep our Judeo-Christian values. You are welcome to Islam, Scientology, Humanism, political correctness and Shirley McClain. You can also have the U.N. but we will no longer be paying the bill. Well keep the SUVs, pickup trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Volt and Leaf you can find. You can give everyone healthcare if you can find any practicing doctors. Well continue to believe healthcare is a luxury and not a right. Well keep The Battle Hymn of the Republic and The National Anthem. Im sure youll be happy to substitute Imagine, Id Like to Teach the World to Sing, Kum Ba Ya or We Are the World. Well practice trickle-down economics and you can continue to give trickle up poverty your best shot. Since it often so offends you, well keep our history, our name and our flag. Would you agree to this? If so, please pass it along to other like-minded liberal and conservative patriots and if you do not agree, just hit delete. In the spirit of friendly parting, Ill bet you answer which one of us will need whose help in 15 years. Sincerely, John J. Wall Law Student and an American P.S. Also, please take Ted Turner, Sean Penn, Martin & Charlie Sheen, Barbara Streisand, & ( Hanoi ) Jane Fonda with you. P.S.S. And you wont have to press 1 for English when you call our country.

    Unit 10 Early Rifle Bull

I have lots of experience In the unit and most is shed hunting but I've been apart of my dad an his partner having early archery tags there as well. It's a phenomenal unit but just because its a "trophy unit" doesn't mean you will get a good bull. We spend hours and miles looking for sheds and during the hunt we had many good bulls but that also came with the price of scouting and many miles on the ground daily. 10 is like any other unit if you don't put time In you will be mildly successful. If you have time to hit the back country you will exceed and excell! Good luck and congradulations on my dream hunt. Plan to put the miles on and wear a few pair of boots out. If you're that dedicated you shouldn't have a problem finding a bull of a lifetime

    Pima county archery range

I work for Pima County NRPR and trust me don't trust what you hear for an opening date. The department drags their feet so slow on everything it makes molasses look fast. Right now the county department is in a spending freeze until the fiscal year ( July). There are still some minor things needing to be done out there (maybe a weeks worth of work) but we keep getting pulled off to go babysit Huckleberry's pet projects. Figure for late summer early fall for it opening judging by the way things are going in the county right now.

Deason I didn't have to hire anyone. The Cho187 wanted to shoot with me and the Coon Leroy so I told him he could. I'm sure it had nothing to do with our capability to shoot fish but more so to do with how good looking we are.

Gonehuntin I know how to fix your problem. Grab a beer and go to your boat and slap some duct tape, JB Weld, and some bailing wire on something and I'm sure it will be fixed!

  15. Anyone have any recommendations on a good HD video camera that is a decent price as well? I'm not looking to cheap out but don't want to break the bank either. Seeing as that I never draw tags and everyone around me (friends and family) always do I figure this is the next best anternative to shooting something some way or another. I've got 4 family members with elk tags this year. 3 early archery bull tags in 5BN and 1 early rifle 5BN cow tag. I know the unit like the back of my hand and want to get some good elk footage. Maybe even a few elk harvested on camera. Like I stated early I'm not looking to cheap out but dont want to spend 2000$... If any of you guys have a good starting point or recommendation in HD video cameras for me to look at that would be much appreciated! I'm looking to spend anywhere from $500-$1300 depending on features and the basic bang for the buck. Thanks again!

2nd Annual Shootin' The Moon Tournament

Yeah if someone has 500-600lbs the will be sitten real purdy. Especially since I already have 547.69lbs of carp sitten in my freezer with with only 28 fish. I used crimson red krylon spray paint on the gills to keep them lookin fresh for the SHOOT THE COON.

Custom build. What caliber would you go with?

I used Seekins precision high rings. What finish did you use on your barrel? the barrel is black cerakote and all the all the stainless parts were bead blasted for the mat-stainless finish.
